I have pulled the trans from a G1, G2 and G5. The G5 is the easiest to pull, but, there is no additional room in the G5 tunnel or frame. To increase the tunnel size you sacrifice cabin space.
Lastly, in the G2 with a 2 speed auto, you had to notch the frame.
I prefaced my post by saying it was a repeat. My only real rant is, how many times can this small group keep repeating themselves. The same **** just gets old. At least I know when I repeat a point.
Some of the responses prove your point. Personally, if if I did not like the new platform I would move on to what i thought was a better car. How can an"owner" or "enthusiest" possibly think their continual negative narrative helps. Are they so blinded by this hate that they don't realize it...
The dealer has to use the factory scan tool to do a throttle relearn.
QUOTE=kristopherbush;3253807]That was my plan too but considering Woodhouse posted 3 months ago that the PCM is coming and is now still stuck in legal made me pull the trigger on the headers and gear now. The way I see it is...
The dealers that sell the viper were required to purchase a scan tool that connects to the car and also is on-line with the factory. That is how the firmware is checked for the latest version. I do not think a typical Dodge dealer can check the viper pcm. Some of the dealers had the scan tool...
How about a pic from about four ft back. Your current pic looks like a sperm cell in a petri dish. Food for thought your only posts relate to your problem. Secondly, you want to ruin a company because you don't like the response of a dealers dept. Lastly, you mention other issues without...
The Belanger's eliminate a lot of the cabin heat and sill heat. Just a guess, but, the BBG headers probably do the same. I took IR camera pictures before and after my headers addition and they did not look like the same car.
I have been on the waiting list for 90 days and still no word. I was told the fix is a new ignition switch. The torque required to turn the problem switch is approx 12 in-lbs, the safe limit is 20 in-lbs. They knew they had a problem before 2004 and they hid it due to the potential costs. All...
No disrespect, however, how many times can you repeat the same line. If I had the time and did some research, I could probably find at least 50 times where you repeat the same thing. Again, no disrespect, but, everyone else might be tired of hearing it.

You have your apples and oranges confused. The zo6 will cost close to, or more than what you would pay for a SRT.
There seems to a common illness in this forum. When cost comparisons are made it is always with an optioned out GTS. You are going to find very little difference in track times...
It is hard to support their effort when they ignored the problem for 14 years. I guessed at some numbers and came up with each GM mechanic doing at least 300 recall procedures
