That's true, good point. If the T/A is 120K and its based on the SRT (Give or take 20K in upgrades), then maybe adding another 30K in upgrades will make the ACR. I still think wider carbon fiber body panels will be a lot of money. We shall see though.
It would be cool if its 150K but I doubt it would be that low if there gunna do wider body panels and maybe a small HP increase. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Gen 4 ACR carbon fiber wing and splitter was 10K alone, so imagine what wider carbon fiber body panels would be. If people want paddle...
If you can order the SRT hood on a GTS, I'm interested to see what an SRT hold with full stripes will look like. Bet it will be nice.I agree with BigDawg, I could see the SRT model being dropped soon.
I wouldn't be surprised if SRT is waiting to see what #s Chevys Z06/Zr1 will have, even the new Gallardo replacement.
If the price is going to be alot higher they have to be ready to be the best track car on the market, which I'm sure it will be.
Correct me if I'm wrong but 2004 Viper model year had a little over 3,000 units, and for the Gen 1 1994 had the most model units (Maybe close to 3,000). Looks like this happens every 10 years with Vipers.

Synergy I completely understand where your coming from. I think this was stupid for SRT to do. The original SRT model hood that they had designed kind of resembled the Gen 3 hood were it had those slits. That hood would be much for suitable for the SRT model because it differentiates the two...
They probably called it TA to pay homage to the old TA models, but since its really not a "Trans am" model they just called it "Time Attack" instead. At least thats my guess.
