No...you seem to be missing the point. Many people who drive their car AT THE TRACK, are only getting marginally worse mileage. At the track I am sure that people are not using a skip shift. City driving is not nearly as bad as at the track. Driving with a heavy foot can hurt, sure. That is...
Don't believe me? Fine. Maybe you will believe another source. Dodge itself says 11. 8.5 mpg is 30 percent low. See below...

Hoping that things go well for you. Obviously you have more than paid your dues here.......
It would cost them nothing to have you back as a dealer. Good luck to you.
Re: Viper drive that starts with Attempted Vehicular Manslaughter and ends with Polic
Bad Bee,
I agree with you. I sort of mentioned it that there was no turns in the direction of the Viper but in the SUV direction there were two.
I also agree that he entered the lanes early, therefore...
Re: Viper drive that starts with Attempted Vehicular Manslaughter and ends with Polic
I looked at the video several times.
The first case of near contact between the two vehicles is interesting.
If you watch really closely you will notice that the Viper is in the left hand lane. Next to...
I doubt that he has owners of 92's calling him "every day" with only 800 miles on them. There are very few of these cars around. If they are calling him, then he is missing out on buying them.
Note he did not even say how much the owners were selling the car for. Suppose it was for 20k? Is...
The parts are very expensive. Getting to everything under the dashboard and in the engine compartment can be time consuming. It is not that easy of a fix. You can do it for yourself, but it is an all day job for most.
Wow. I took some crap years back for a comment related to Nazi's taken out of context. This one is just over the top. Enjoy the heat from the Germanocentric individuals on here. I will be preparing some popcorn to read the back and forth on this one.
JPA99ACR,
I think that the installation is nice. In fact, it is one of the nicest that I have seen. Congrats. As for the spare tire being used as a crash protection device, I respectfully disagree.
With all due respect, if you think about it, a crash can occur when you have a spare tire...
What others said. Swap out the battery. Face it....the battery is most likely old and it is in the dead of winter. Put one in anyway to just eliminate that as a possibility. Battery is in the rear of the car, drivers side. Have to take the back wheel off to get to it.
Only the headlight area looks dated. The rest of the car is swoopy and fresh. If I were Dodge, I would update the Gen II look, with more aggressive headlights, keep the "Double Bubble" look and have the one piece lift nose. Others, obviously, will disagree.
What I would do is design the components into the new vehicle, but have an exemption put in to the government for the car. If you get it, then you don't need to install the parts. If the attempt fails, then you already have the design completed and install the parts. You could have an option...
This is great news. My undergraduate school has one of the worlds largest hydrodynamic testing tanks that they do the fluid dynamics solutions on for the Americas Cup boats. The design of these craft is fantastic and very experimental. Great engineering there. I saw that the first couple of...
As for ESC, contrary to the gibberish that it does not work, or only works in certain selected instances, the data shows that there is a THIRTY FIVE percent reduction in single vehicle accidents. That is a huge difference...
