Using your logic above, then cars should hardly ever go faster in the real world compared to Mag tests (at least for the Mustang).
Using the same Magazine, the new Shelby Mustang was both faster through the quarter mile and had a significantly higher trap speed. All through those crappy...
Absolutely correct. People just do not understand that information was obtainable in the past as well. On some models, the information has been available for over a decade.
George,
If the back pain is an issue as well as entry and exit, consider spending a small (very small) amount of money on a Lincoln Mark VIII and slap a supercharger on it. You have luxury, ease of getting in and out and can be out for under 10k. It has the Ford Cobra engine, is very reliable...
Should be required watching before you can post on this website honestly.
Again, as I have said for many years on here........Thanks to the people who build these cars. Smooth indeed.:usa:
I don't know where you get your numbers, but many would argue with your points. Many are estimating that the Mustang will be a very low 11 second car. I have even seen estimates in the very high 10's. Most GTS drivers here are in the low 12's.
That is a huge difference. Call it a "boat" or...
When I see a GTR, I do not think "Poser". Sorry. Just don't.
I don't think anything less of a person, based upon their car.
Whether it is AJ Foyt behind the wheel of one or a Grandmom, I don't think that the person is posing.
Re: Almost disaster....
Not that you heard it here, but someone may have done that to you. I find it very strange that ALL of them let go. Don't you think it is strange? Really?
Thanks to all again. The reason that this is the best car forum on the Internet.
DanielR - You are correct. I was mixing them up. Looking at section 24 of the repair manual and trying to see what the heck was going on. Compressor it is.
Thanks to both of you. I must be an idiot or something. When I looked in yesterday, I said that there was no way I was going to get in there and do anything. Impossible.
If you tell me I can do it, I will redouble my efforts. I can see where this will be a very large thread for many people...
Ok,
Got some questions. I keep reading that the compressor is accessible from the top. Looking at the shop manual and my car seems to indicate the following:
1) The air box must be removed.
2) The condensor is located directly in front of the radiator, between the radiator and the front...
In an answer to the above question, all of this goes back to one of the members on this board who has tried, repeatedly,
to kiss hind end to people in power on this board to get business.
This member went way above and beyond for over a year practically making a guarantee that he had people "in...
Funny all the comments that the Viper will be "conservative" in the hp, but nobody said the same about the Mustang.
The mere fact that the two are mentioned in the same sentence, on this very website, says volumes. Even if the Mustang does not
work all that well (to be proved), the marketing...
