Steve,
Congrats on the new car. Now you are going to have to move down to Houston so we can have the Crab run down here with the rest of us. (Always pictured you in red......the silver is a big change.)
Regards,
Plaw
Maybe the regulations will just say that the car "has" to have it.
Does not say that it has to be "active" always, therefore the shutoff can be semi-permanent. Just a thought about getting around the problem.
Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but check out the extent that they went into with the Computational Fluid Dynamics on the ACR. Modeled over the whole car. The stuff done was really serious. It was not just an add on.

Respectfully, there is a lot more engineering that goes into these things. The drag and overall effect on the car at different speeds has to be investigated. Just my 2 cents.
Does not mean that you cant fiddle around with it and come up with something great by trial and error.
You have to...
Obviously check fluids and tire pressure.
Don't push it at all. Drive like an 80 yr old. Super cold and nasty up there. You can be a pro and still not control this car on ice.
Take it easy and pull into motels if the weather gets bad. Better safe than sorry.
Get AAA as well in case...
Some of us don't forget Wizard..........
I can't believe that a dealership in place for close to 100 years was placed on the block. Unbelievable.
They could make things right at the drop of a hat. Literally.....with the stroke of a pen.
They continue to refuse to do it. It's Bull....
Obviously, the guy was in the left lane for some reason and then had to cut the wheel. Deer in CT seems like a more reasonable explanation than anything else. He was in the damn woods.
He has more problems than the single car accident police report.
I suggest cutting him some slack. The...
So much for the argument that "Dodge was showing us something three (3) years out, and nobody does that...."
The comment seems to make sense, as you will recall there were concerted efforts to get information from members on the website, and then there was a seemingly strange period when it...
Oh good lord....now we have the thought police on the board. Can't even talk about the car for some stupid reason.
Some of you guys are too much.......
And the funny thing is that you actually BELIEVE it that the Dodge police will be after you if you talk about the car.:lmao:
Book'em...

Lee,
You are a nice guy, but your comments are factually untrue. Sorry, but you need to take off the rose colored glasses.
Check it out.

2013 seems like three (3) years out. This is not meant as a "gotcha" moment or "I know better than you." Dont take it like...
The average member has access to the "inner workings"? How? They will not even show a picture. VOI was a marketing event, among other things. They marketed a new vehicle they wish to sell to members who wish to buy. Without the buyers, there is no reason to make the vehicle. Until...
You make absolutely too much sense so off with you now......
Come on, I mean really. You know they already filed their patents for the shape of the car and did all of this, so they are protected from the intellectual property standpoint. This is all just smoke and mirrors crap that is not to...
I always liked the 300zx better. More integrated design. Even today it catches the eye.
Hope the new Viper retains the heritage. The heads of the company have been saying the right things. Lets hope they get it right.
What happened to Viper ownership has happened in motorcycle ownership in the last 20 years.
Relatively little money can buy you a crazy fast vehicle. People who can afford it (or not) jump in head first. Unfortunately, in the motorcycle world, people get killed. Here, we will see in the...
