what size are those wheels, 19 and 20s? Also, which route did you go to get that great looking stance? I'm contemplating the eibach springs and caps, but really don't want to nick up the front facia any more, and i have no idea how it would affect handling on the track. Any insight?
those rims are SICK. I've got the same viper as you and would love to add those. What could I expect to pay for a set of those? Love the new hood too btw.
I did the full belanger header/exhaust conversion on my '04 and had my computer re-flashed to better handle the mods. There definitely have been some ups and downs. First of all the sound alone is incredible. I haven't had the car on a dyno, but it sure felt like there was more power once i...
I think it looks racy, not ricy. Kind of like the 2010 Porsche 911 RS GT3. The porsche may look gaudy with the painted wheels and checkered graphics, but these cars are for the racetrack! They are just making the cars look more exciting for everyone who will be getting passed by them in my...
that is freakin amazing. What a testament to the Viper. No other super car outside of maybe a 911 Turbo would be able to withstand 120K. I've got 5,400 on my '04, so it should still be cranking by the time i'm 100 years old.
I just received this email yesterday and thought it would be great if we could get some vipers in the event. If you plan on going let me know. I'll be bringing my '04.

It's not that i'm spending $1,000.00 to make a light go away, it was for the computer to be reprogrammed to better handle the belanger mods and truly get the horsepower and torque gains associated with those products. A bi-product of doing this has been the check engine light and the reverse...
to answer the question about the cost of the re-flash, yeah it was high. Before taxes and the additional 02 sensor it was around $1,200 w/ labor. I have a feeling i got dinged by the dealer b/c they marked up the work that snake-oyl did, EVEN THOUGH I WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED CONTACTING...
Went to the dealer last night and replaced the fuse, and removed the fuse block that the 02 sensors run to. Drove the car and after 2 miles the check engine light came on again. We believe it must be an issue with some of the wires either being burnt or chaffed, or it's something with the...
Even though I don't have to pass emissions w this vehicle (due to where it's registered) I would like to figure out what the heck the root problem is and fix it. However, the dealer doesn't think the wires have any issues along with the sensor. That's what I don't understand. Shouldn't there...
Mine is an '04, and I'm not interested in buying a new ECU. I just paid over $1,500 to have mine re-flashed which was supposed to solve this problem along with a handful of other great benefits. I really hope my dealer and snake-oil can fix this easily.
Just spoke with the dealer about the issue, and it appears as though the sensors are fine and so are wires. He mentioned that the passenger side wires are so far from the headers that he doesn't see how it could be an issue. They are going to speak with the engineers at snake-oil this...
Ok, this may seem like a dumb question, but I just thought of it. If my newly reprogrammed ECU isn't even supposed to be looking at those o2 sensors, why is giving the code in the first place? The dodge dealer (and the ECU programmer) conviced me that by adding a new 02 sensor would be a...
To Coloviper,
Do you have any idea how/where the wiring was re-routed? I'd like to speak to my dealer about this. Also, what is the NEW heat shield? Where can I or the dealer get that from? This might be a better alternative than going the simulator route.
To start the summer I added the full belanger exhaust/cat/header package and it resulted in frying an 02 sensor which caused my engine light to come on and make it difficult to engage in reverse gear. I thought I had the problem solved when I had the ECU re-flashed a few weeks ago, but it's...
Picked up the car last night after work. HOLY @#$%^@, this Viper is ALIVE! The redline is 200 RPMs higher now, and this car just hauls @SS. I couldn't be more happy with the work I received from Snak-Oil and 5 Corners Dodge. I'm looking forward to getting it back to the track next summer and...
I'm having a "race" PCM installed in my '04 and it says it's for off-road use only. Has anyone ever received a ticket for driving a an "off-road" use only PCM on the street? It seems highly unlikely, but I thought i'd see if it's happened. Fines can be up to $32,000!!!!! That is a serious...
Belanger all the way for performace and sound. Plan on having the computer re-programmed though cause it will throw off the mapping. I have done all of this recently, quite a learning experience. Absolutely love it though.
Had the car in friday, and the issue lies in the belanger headers/exhaust. It's thrown the mapping way off mark. As it is now, i've likely got less power than stock. I had the dealer remove the PCM and it's being sent to Snakeoil in Madison, wi for a re-program that will run the car a bit...
