The car at Max Motors, does anyone know whos car this is or where it came from? Looks really nice, and supposedly came from a VCA member. Just wondering on its backround before I would fly out to look at it.

I just got a quote yesterday from Erie Insurance for $980-1200 yr full coverage depending on what options i chose. This would also be my 3rd car and it would be listed as a recreational car (under 5k miles a year).
I am 24 also, clean driving record and think that is a pretty good deal.

It’s a low mileage car 7k miles, cant imagine them looking that bad from improper exiting already? Is there some kind of hard support in there such as a metal stiffener or something that came loose and is trying to escape?

Well i am in the market for a GTS and came across this one but the seat bolster looks like it has some sort of growth on it. Anyone seen this before? I havent gotten a chance to see it in person yet. :dunno:

Its amazing how far carbon fiber has come in a short time. Right now im down in SC working on an all carbon composite airliner. If it works good at 35k feet im sure it will be ok for a rocker panel :2tu...
Carbon fiber sheets are bonded with a thermoset resin which cannot melt and is very resistant to heat. They even sell exhaust systems for street bikes and such that are made of carbon fiber.
