    They are quite useful in a roadster. I would have felt like I was getting slapped in the forehead a hundred times a minute without them. No real use in a coupe. Unless you can't afford a decent set of shades.....

    I say make them all 4 cylinders with hybrid electric motors. I know the environmental impact is twice that of an International CTX, but we want to stop Global Warming...... A V8 Viper will just make it another Vette or Mustang. Keep it exclusive or forget it.

    Buy a Gen 4. A FE roadster. Then, smash it, preferably into another FE (esp. a roadster). I will send you a thank you card. Tonyviper, The heat was secondary to Dodge trying to "fix" the exhaust note. People complained about the rear-exit exhaust note, so the side sill exit was hatched...

    In a coupe without any exhaust upgrades maybe. I had it in the Copperhead with a Borla cat back and it was pretty useless, top up or top down.

    I had this discussion with Bill Pemberton. We figured the tax I would save, and I made sure any offer for a private sale was greater than what we estimated the trade-in value (+ tax saved). I have a car on order, so time frame for me was longer.

    Just think of it as giving back to the little guy. Be positive, that kid probably had more fun right before he wrecked it, than he has had in his whole life. It was all part of "pursuit of happiness" redistribution, the next logical step.

    I have no idea why they still put that price up. I called to see what I could haggle, and there was none involved. He simply said, we are offering the D7x/7000x with casters, oil pans, and jack platform for $2049. You have to call, though.
