Ever wonder why they connect the wheels to the steering wheel? Do any of you steer your cars with the steering wheel while you "play" with them? LOL. One could turn the wheels tighter if not connected.
In 5 days I will have had my early '93 for 20 years. I have had the '96 for 17, the '98 for 15 and the '03 for 10 years. Yah, I tend to hang on to stuff. To get a 2013 one will have to go but the decision will be difficult as each has some significance.o
Steve, I'm with you on the HATE part of this job. I couldn't remember who flushed with all those gallons of distilled water, so it was you, ha :). Even though I have a hoist it's surrounded closely by other cars. I had to do a vehicle swap yesterday and couldn't get the snakes back in the...
I have read Ron's well written coolant change proceedure for Gen II's of October 2000 but cannot find a thread for my '93 Gen I. I thought it'd be a good project to get them all changed while in hibernation; I've personally done the Gen II's and III but not the Gen I.
Questions:
1. The...
Re: watching NASCAR Charlotte race - the ROVAL we ran on - in full NASCAR - aerials,
Very cool! I was channel surfing and said to my wife, hey, that's Charlotte!! I didn't take a car but did get to
drive the Dodge Super Bee and took advantage of the 3 lap Petty Driving Experience. What a...
I have been to all eleven, almost 12. The only downside I can think of is when I didn't win the table display and had to buy one:(.
I have not always taken a car and have had a great time whether I had my car or not. It's well worth every penny, you won't regret going.
Just booked at the Embassy Thur., Fri., Sat. nights. The registration desk knew nothing about the VOI12 event. After 20 minutes on the phone I just booked outside of the VCA special pricing.
I hate the new Gen V Viper. Now I have to sell something to fit it in my garage. If it was ugly, under powered and poorly engineered I wouldn't be feeling lust in my heart. And one of my cars wouldn't have to be adopted by another owner. Darn Gen V anyway.
Jon, help refresh my memory on this. Weren't there three opportunities? The first being the '96 coupe, the second the GT2 and the third certificates for the 03? I distinctly remember the GT2 and the 03 opportunities but am vague on the '96. As I recall everybody who attended VOI-? that year...
Steve,
I might also add that VCA members got a letter dated May 1, 1998 from Dodge along with a "flyer with complete details and the list of the top Dodge dealers, based on prevous Viper sales, to whom we are allocating the Special Edition GT2 Viper." Signed by Jim Julow
Steve, On May 1,1998 all Dodge Dealers received a letter concerning the build of the GT2. It stated that "members of the VCA are being notified right now of the availability of these vehicles and are also being given a list of dealers receiving them. We recommend that you give first priority...
What year car?
Look closely at your drivers side door. Can you see a key receptacle under the flared door edge? Look up at it from the ground. Sometimes you have to push in on the door as you turn the key to relieve the pressure on the door.
18 years ago (can't believe my 93 is that old!!) I bought a car duster from Beverly Hills Motoring who, I believe, is no longer in business. After all these years it is still far better than a new California duster. Can any of you recommend a duster you are happy with?
