    Saw a Viper GTS today!!!

It's a love affair ain't it though? I put em in my driveway, sit in one and look at the others. It's not often you get to see them from a drivers perspective.

    Mopar Accessory Question

Yes to cruise, no to radio. Cruise would benefit those of us who suffer with back problems in that we could change positions for more comfort. And how about a battery shut off switch so we don't have to charge our batteries so often while in storage. Sorry Daffy, I just had to add one!

Has anyone produced an alternative to the soft top?

How about something that stores rolled up in the sport bar, something like a window shade? One would pull it forward and latch it into the existing latch receptacles and fold the side curtains down over the doors. Then run like mad to the trunk and get a tarp, cover the car and wait until the...

my viper is being delivered in the next day or so.I have some questions.

Drive defensively. Can't say how many times I have avoided contact from others not seeing me or from the gawk factor.

Post your favorite pic of your Viper :)

Vipervilla, the Mach I is red, with the flat black hood, spoilers and back window grille. The Cobra replica is blue with white stripes like the '96. I'll try to post a pic showing how I get all six into my 3 stall garage.

    Any problem with this?

Thanks Nexus, I'll order some today. Another reason I let the car cool down some before hosing it is because I tend to get hard water spots on the side sills if they are still hot.

    Any problem with this?

Thanks for the duster tip. Anything to hasten wheel clean-up is appreciated. Where may I purchase these California Dusters?

    Any problem with this?

Seems the wheels get dirtier much faster than the rest of the car right? I was under the impression that wiping the brake dust off the wheels, even with damp clothes, without a rinsing first may cause skratches. What do others think and do?

A couple of questions about my new Viper

    1. You must remove the wheel and remove the access panel to service the battery. 2. The airbox is the intake for the interior heater. Assuming you are referring to the round opening with the soft rubber gasket surrounding it, directly below the "radio speaker" grille on the hood (some people...

    My South Coast Slither Experience!

Daffy, From reading your posts I know you are a trivia buff so here goes: On the fenders and windshield it is GTSR. On the flag badge (left side behind door) FIA GT2 Champion. The dash plaque has GTSR with FIA GT2 Champion. On the congratulation card "Commemorative GT2 Vehicle." In the manual...

    My South Coast Slither Experience!

Hey Daffy, Even those of us who own Vipers learn something new almost daily from this forum. I've been calling my GT2 a GTSR interchangeably as well. The side fender badge has GTSR on it. I sure appreciate your input, I see your name in many places. Makes me want to take up an offering and...

    Why so much heat?

If they all your vehicles run at the same temperature 200 degrees is 200 degrees is 200degress. I would agree with others in that there is more mass. Larger engine, headers, exhaust system, radiator, etc. Also the heat has more openings to exit quicker than a "normal" vehicle. It is a plus...

Zaino. This is what I got for being a loyal customer. (short with pic)

Looks great!! I'm a new user of Zaino products. The Z6 really does work. I'll try to keep this short. You guys have been a real good source of info and I am learning a lot from you. I have 4 Vipers and am self teaching how to care for the finishes. My 93 hasn't been cleaned well since new...

    Engine Damage

When I picked up my 98 GT2 at the factory it had 38 factory miles on it. It also had evidence that it was driven on the road perhaps through a puddle of water. Perhaps it was one they selected to do additional tests on or maybe they took it out for lunch. Who knows. The dealer may not have...

    May I introduce myself..........new RT/10 owner

Welcome aboard, you are in for some good times. The VOI's are great; I have been to all seven. I picked my SRT up at the factory Jan 14 but couldn' drive it until March 18 for two reasons. One, the weather and two I promised a friend she could be the very first to drive it. Finally the...

Race Deck Garage Floors - Anyone have one?

I too am considering this floor in my 30 x 44 garage. I received a sample tile and have two questions. 1. How tight are the joints once installed? Any problem with dirt and grit building up in the joints? 2. How quiet is the floor when walked upon? It would seem to produce a "hollow" sound...

    Side window/boot issue

Hey guys I posted an SRT question in the RT/GTS forum. If you get a chance please look there under the same subject to address my problem. Thanks, I don't know how to contact the forum administrator to move the post.

    Side window/boot issue

I am finally getting enough semi-decent weather to log a few miles on my SRT. I am wondering if others are experiencing what I am when rolling up the windows. On both sides of the car the window comes up on the inside of the rubber boot located on the lower front corners of the windows. The...
