All it takes is cubic money! The SRT simply didn't have the resources to put into Vipers reintro that GM had to do the C7. The money wasn't there to do everything. For example GM built a fleet of 202 cars just to do road endurance quality testing. I don't think SRT has that kind of money - yet...
Tid Bit from the article
"our projected peak volumes [2,500 units/annually]"
That's what the suppliers are using for production projections, manufacturing techniques, and capital equipment investments. Fits the more informal comments by Ralph G. As I recall, ~1500 units/annually are needed...
This is for TEAM Viper.
Can a currently listed metalic paint color be applied in the manner of the Stryker Red to give the depth of color - for an additional price of course? For example Gunmetal Pearl? :dunno:

“The No. 93 and one other car were the only cars that could make it to the end if the race stayed green and the 93 was in front of that other car. If there was a yellow, then the 91 was in control. We had it covered both ways. It was a great...

Be happy. I can't even get a 2014 spec sheet. All I get is advice to call this dealer or that dealer because they know. If I wanted to call a dealer I would have. I want a spec sheet. By the way a blog to Ralph was ignored.
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
From what I read, the problem was that SRT didn't realize going in that many of their past suppliers didn't want to do business with Chrysler anymore. For example, the engine block supplier refused. By the...
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
FWIS, 2200 cars a year, steady, is enough to fund further development. However, as a halo car, the basic nature of the Viper changes due to the T in SRT. If the Viper represents the Technology of SRT then the...
The fog lights have an interesting history. An early styling rendition had them located as on the current GTS-R but Sergio stopped that approach. Later styling renditions had LED fog lamps where the present air intakes are located. In Liang's book you can see some pictures of a styling model...
From a number of Ralph's comments, it sounds like around 1500 a year is the breakeven point for a profit with around 2500 a year a maximum without really ramping up the production capability.
IMHO what we have here is a bunch of dealers trying to get maximum profit by "advertising" nation wide. The cars are listed on autotrader and shown in the show room and for all I know, listed on ebay with a minimum above the MSRP or even craiglist.
It appears to me that these dealers don't...
Just to make life interesting, look at this patent from several years ago:

"A multi-speed transmission for transmitting power from a power source includes a torque converter as well as dual clutches which may be arranged as dual input clutches or...
