A lot of diesel cars can have a retrofit one of these, usually when the valve in the filter assembly doesnt keep the fuel from running back down the line. I sell them, but that probably doesnt help you much. They come in various bore sizes from 1/4" thru to 3/8". They are also relatively...
Carl, what kind of oil pan kit is that, its totally different from mine..........where are the trapdoors and whats isolating the oil down in the pan, the baffle is very open.
I'd leave the front mounts off, they are only really needed when an exhaust with flexy is fitted. If you fit them to the solid headers the mounts will stress things by trying to prevent the motor from rocking on its mounts. And Skunk doesnt need front mounts so it must be ok :)
Interesting stuff here. I think the pickles look restrictive, but Lou assured me that on an NA motor they made more power. I have also had this confirmed by Dan Cragin. However they may be restrictive once really big slugs of gas start moving. The Belangers look to be excellent quality with...
Might be worth thinking about a new pump just as a precaution.....the impellors on a batch were prone to loosen if I remember correctly. Dan Cragin would have the full story on this, may be able to help you.
Sound descision, do you need the 97 cam though on a blown motor, your later milder cam might be better suited to the supercharger. Just a thought......no definite info to back it up. In 2001 there was a problem with waterpump impellors. Cant remember which year yours is ?
Got my pulley from Archer at VOI. It looks a quality part and fits perfectly. Incidentally the steering pump bracket is also prone to breakage. DLM make a billet part to replace that. I have the billet bracket in stock if you need it.
Yes, as far as I know, the GTSR block uses a different crank with smaller(?) main journals......the block is machined differently in this area. Dan Cragin would know, I think it was he who told me.
Interesting, I need to know more  I've had some litres in a lab bottle for about 15 years now, assumed it would be ok since it is sealed. It looks the same, it tastes the same on the lick test :p , I'll try and find out more.
Adam, how does the methanol degrade, I know it can absorb water from the atmosphere, but if the bottle is sealed that can't happen. Does it change its chemical composition in some way to become "not methanol"....just curious.
I think I read on the leaflet that comes with the Bosch wideband sensors ( or maybe with the AEM ) that the sensors have a life of around 30k miles with unleaded and 10k miles with leaded. I was surprised to read that about the leaded. Cant find the leaflet now, am I remembering incorrectly ?
Sorry cant help on the M800. But it might be helpful to know that we did try the AEM CDI ignition together with the AEM ECU on my supercharged motor. Whilst the AEM ECU is a fantastic piece of equipment, the CDI unit didnt show any apparent benefit. We didnt have enough dyno time to really...
Interesting lateral thinking.........Citroen, Roll-Royce, Jaguar have used it. Dont think it would be compatible with our brake system seals.....also dont know about the boil point. I use it in my mountain bike brake system(magura), but then I havnt got 400+bhp and 3600lbs to stop.
