Steve, I don't have my VIN on me, but VCA should have a record of it as I submitted it to them so I could be registered as a Viper Owner. Can they look up the records? I can call on a satellite phone to give them the CC info. Or maybe it's even in my profile... I'll check.- DLTARNU

Wait, now that I'm reading the app, it says for new memberships it's $75 from July-September. Does that mean it's only good until December 31, 2009? If that's the case, I'll just wait until January 1, 2010.- DLTARNU

I am currently at work in the Arctic, and have no fax machine, nor do I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat so I can't edit the PDF document the VCA app comes in. Yeah don't rush the purchase. There are a LOT of really good deals out there right now. Take your time, shop around, within a month you will likely come across a deal too good to pass up. $45,000 for a '97 B/W with 9800 miles is not one of those deals.- DLTARNU

I also meant to add that given the current deflation of used Viper prices and inflation of Viper parts, insurance companies will be far more likely to total out a Gen 1 or Gen II Viper these days than they were a few years ago. I've been in two accidents since I've owned my Viper, in a span a bit over 5 years. The first time, an F-350 crew cab dually turned left from the inside lane directly in front of me. Is GHCDEALER (Chad) still around?
A while back there was a guy named Chad who used the forum name GHCDEALER and lived in central Florida who did custom Viper interiors. I saw some of his work and it was top notch. Anyone know if this guy is still around? Post data shows he was last on 9 months ago.- DLTARNU

That really wasn't a fair fight. Stock Gen IV vs. stock GT2, fine, that's fair. Take 2 with the same car versus a Viper with a high-end DLM or UG package, and show us the sequel.- DLTARNU
