Base Model VS. GTS
All coupes should have been called the GTS. What makes the base model any different besides the adjustable shocks and better interior? The GEN2 GTS didn't have two-mode shocks, so how does that make it worthy of the GTS name? There should have been package A, B, and C for all GTS's. Option...- klamathpro

Where in the heck does this ridiculous idea that a Viper cannot handle come from?
Or come with PS2's had they existed. The XGT's and MXX3's were the weakest link, but that's all they had. Modern tread design is so much better, any cheap summer front tire will outperform that old bottleneck.- klamathpro

To sell or not to sell?
The 2013 GT500 will be a mid 11 second car based on the weight (3850lbs) and traction (P285/35R). The GTS is a high 11 second car stock. Reverse harder to get into, but not locked out or grinding.
No, in doing more research and now understanding how it works, it makes sense that it's the solenoid. I think it has been working on and off, or has been slowly failing. I just always thought that when it went, you had no reverse at all, based on some other posts. But in reality, using two hands...- klamathpro

I just checked all the 20A fuses under the dash and didn't find any blown. Probably the solenoid then.- klamathpro

New key ruined... not impressed
I took a risk and had Home Depot cut my Sneaky Pete. She told me it would not be their fault if she messed up. I told her to be extra careful and take her time and stood over her shoulder. It turned out fine, but I was sweatin' watching her cut it.- klamathpro

To drive, or not to drive?
The GEN1's have so few miles because you can't go very far without windows! That's what held me back from being able to put more than 3k miles a year on my 94'. What year is best?
Owning both a GEN1 and 2, I have concluded that, quirks aside, any GEN2 is far superior to the GEN1 in almost everything performance wise. Though the GEN1 is a great handling car, the GTS just kills it from a driving standpoint. I never realized this until I drove a GTS. It accelerates better...- klamathpro

To me the F40's looks are dated. It's like Ferarri could not stop finding places to put NACA ducts. The GTS is timeless. Here's what one owner thinks of his bland F40: Now the ENZO is another story. What the??? Seriously? Is your goal to blend in? With an exhaust, SCT tune, and modern tires, you would match the Z06 in everything except braking. The Z06 seats alone will kill you. Yes I searched. What is the Torque spec for the two verticle differential to frame bolts on a GEN2? I only have a 95 manual and it shows the ladder bar bolts being torqued to 150ft-lbs. But GEN2's don't have a ladder bar and bolt to an adaptor that's attached to the frame. I just want to make...- klamathpro
