It will change your world! Just be aware of the power and torque as i have since learned...My wife says it felt like taking off in a jet plane, but hell i haven't even opened it up with her in it...the one time i gave it a little juice ,i looked over and she had her hands over her ears and her...
Don't sound crazy to me :2tu: ...a car isn't about how much it costs to me,but how much it means to the driver. Viper's are unique and pure unadulterated excitement! :drive:
About 5 1/2 hours from me. If not for being disabled i would go,but honestly i am a fair newby myself and wouldn't trust myself to give advice on something so big. I generally can only drive or ride for a couple hours at the most now. Was going for a drive to Skyline drive which is only an hour...
If this is what it looks like,i hope it is never built. It would tarnish the Viper personna imho. I think the original Vipers should be the basis for any Viper to follow. Sure, add some nice features but keep it a Viper. Sometime you have to look back to go forward.
Feels good don't it? I drive my 99GTS every chance i get too.I drive the gen 1 as much as possible too.:drive: All Vipers are cool, but the one you own is the coolest on the planet! That goes for everyone here who has one too. They are all that individuals best car on the planet,so enjoy!
After all the comments,i have changed my mind. Keep the Viper and it's trademark V-10 beast image. It is what it is. Don't see why Chrysler couldn't build a smaller ,cheaper but powerful new sports car though. Hell, they used to make a bunch of fast muscle cars and it worked for them then. With...
Even with a broken shifter and worn tires,i still loved driving the beast, but yes...since getting new tires and the new shifter installed,it really made a difference. Gotta upkeep! :drive:
I disagree about the sound. My gts sounds good but the 94 rt/10 sounds absolutely animalistic! lol...but everyone has their own likes and dislikes . Love those sidepipes too!:drive:
Look on classifieds here at Phoenixgts' 98. That is one sharp looking GTS and i bet well taken care of. Check it out first before commiting to this one,ok?
Hello neighbor,I am just outside Farmville. I love the GTS but honestly for pure fun the gen 1 takes the prize in my opininion. Then again, next week i'll probably go back to the GTS.Never get tired of the gen 1 though. It's just to cool. :drive:
I live in Central Va,and i owned mine for about eight or nine months before seeing one on the roads. Heck, most people around here may as well have been looking at a flying saucer as my Viper since they had never seen one and some never heard of a Viper! Over the past month i have spotted several...
Since buying my GTS about a month and a half ago,my wife and i have been driving it a lot and i have ignored my 94 rt/10. The GTS drives so well and feels so comfortable i just was having a ball with it. When i first got the gen 1,it was a rough driving beast and hard to shift. I had never...
haha, i am glad to! Actually she encouraged me to get both my Vipers. Guys here with wives that love their man seem to understand it is more than just a car they are buying. In many cases,it is a dream come true getting a Viper.:drive:
You know,i went back and looked harder and it does look like some rough places on the paint. Especially front of the hood. Is that reddish looking place just an illusion or what is it? I would advise you fly out and check it out in person before spending that much money. Just be careful before...
It's really hard to tell if it had a 'rough life' just by photos. Sometimes pics can show some things and not others. I didn't see any blaring defects myself .Just looks like a good wash and wax inside and out would probably suffice, but it is just very hard to see everything by pics over the...
When you said 99 GTS for sale in Central Va,i panicked! Thought my wife was selling mine :)...this one looks sharp to me. Good luck!
p.s. You will love it!
