    Thanks guys,the GTS is supposed to arrive Sunday or Monday. I'll be cruising in her soon now. The short throw i installed in the gen 1 made worlds of difference.I'll see if this GTS needs the same switch. Maybe it won't need it with a little more horse power.

    No Problem,just enjoy this rare feeling and remember american muscle is what makes true car nuts live. Their may be some more comfy and a few faster,but those cannot be afforded. Besides,ain't many who hold a light to a Dodge Viper and surely none that bring out the beast ! Have fun with the beast!

    I have a red gen 1 R/T and i just bought a GTS ,and i like both.They are two different beasts yet share a big cool factor. In your case i like the blue and white GTS. My 99 GTS is red with grey stripes. I like the blue white theme better.

    Short Throw Shifters...are they worth it?

    I don't see any problem shifting with my new short throw shifter at all.It doesn't take much strength for me and it slides right into gear. So much better than stock imo. The old stock shifter felt like operation the front end loader on my tractor. A world of difference on mine anyway.

    Yep.everyday event ,so are cars and just about anything else! Their was a nice 99 GTS For sale last night but i got that bid and won it:) . Now have to get it shipped to Virginia from St. Louis...anyone know of a good reputable shipper ?

    My Solid Silver 98 GTS is now in the classifieds.

    If times weren't so bad,i would jump right on this one!(just bought another five acres a couple months ago here in Va and wish i hadn't and would have talked the wife into this deal!)It really is a beautiful example. Damn! makes me sick you have to sell 'er :( .
