    ACR badge location?

Thanks everyone! Just for info the dealer said if I would have had to buy them they were $250 each! Fireball - we'll meet up in the spring for sure - are you still driving your car? I'm going to take mine out for a bit today...

    ACR badge location?

My ACR arrived with no ACR badging. Dodge sent me the stickers (the ones that go behind the front wheels), but I'm not sure exactly where to install them. Could some kind ACR owner measure the location of their stickers and let me know? Having said that, I'm kind of debating leaving them off...

excited vipers owners who are in D status (or beyond)

Thanks for the info. It usually snows here sometime between the mid and end of October. It looks like I won't get it before then, which means I'll own it for about six months before I get to drive it... (whine). Oh well, at least when it arrives I can sit in it in my garage making engine...

excited vipers owners who are in D status (or beyond)

I'm currently waiting for mine (red/black). Currently the dealer says the status is "...Viper is built but waiting for the driver stripe to be installed by another company". I would imagine that would have to mean that the ACR stuff has been installed by Prefix... does anyone know what steps...

    Utter Stupidity of American Consumer

I asked a room full of teenagers what they'd choose if they could have ANY car in the world. All but one of them said "Honda Civic". One guy thought an STI would rock...

    All Viper owners

Youth is worth a lot more than money. There are many ways to get money, but you can't get back youth. When I was younger, there were a lot of things I wanted to do (like race motocross). I was fiscally responsible and waited. Now I am 40 and am simply to old to be competitive. WHAT THE HELL...

Voltage between coolant and ground... bad?

Thanks for the input; I didn't use any brass fittings, filled it up with some good red 50/50 coolant (after flushing 8 times to make sure no green was still coming out). The new coolant says "dexcool compatible", I assume that isn't the same as being dexcool (?) The engine seems to be...

Voltage between coolant and ground... bad?

I just installed a new aluminum radiator ('97 GTS). The instructions said to check for voltage between the coolant and ground (said it was very bad and .15V could, through electrolysis, ruin an aluminum engine). I measured a small current (.15V) that dropped off quickly to almost nothing while...

Importing a Viper to Canada? Insurance??

Falconeer - There is a chance my '97 Blue/White GTS (Canadian) will be for sale by the time you are buying. I am in Edmonton, not a bad drive from Sask... You will certainly save serious bucks if you buy mine rather than one from the U.S. PM me if interested for details.

Poll - How many Viper owners are also into motorcycles? What kind?

Re: Poll - How many Viper owners are also into motorcycles? What kind? OK - bikes I have owned... My last two street bikes were a '03 VT750 (wife's) and a 2001 R1 (both gone). Current bike is a 2003 Beta Rev III - anyone familiar?

    My new car

Brooks eh? My brother lives in Taber - I often drive 'close' to Brooks on the way down there. The attention Vipers get in small towns (at least here in AB) is crazy... you are going to have some interesting stories.

    My new car

Yeah, where in Alberta are you? I just picked up a GTS a couple of weeks ago - I'm in Edmonton. I never see Vipers up here. For some reason, people seem to react a lot more down in Calgary (thumbs up, honking, etc.) than they do up here... kind of strange.

    Maintain the Viper motivation?

I was in the same boat years ago, but I used NSX's at the Acura dealer across the street for motivation. I said as soon as I can afford it I'm getting one of those. Well, as soon as I could afford it I got a Viper instead.

    One year ago..........

Congrats Bill! This is my one WEEK anniversary, and due to bad weather, I have only driven my Viper once. I am definitely not used to it! I couldn't believe all the attention, the people honking, waving, staring, screaming (yes, two teenagers just started screaming when they saw it so I...
