    CA emissions are very strict so that might be the reason. Like he said, I would call ahead of time before purchasing to see if it would be able to be registed. In NJ worst case scenerio you could register it as Historic and then you do not have to worry about inspections.

    What might this '08 be worth?

    Yeah I have seen that Manheim has gone crazy with Viper prices. December was low to mid $50s on 08s and then boom, January three 08s new go across the block for $60! Man if I had sold my car in time! It is so sad that Wholesale and Retail have somewhat merged, at least in the Viper market.

    Very true. There are deals to be had, just have to look. What people do not notice is that asking price is just that, ASKING price. Sales prices DOES NOT equal Asking Price.
