No stamp duty required if 25 years old, as I can put it onto club plates in Victoria. Have done all the calculations (have imported several other cars over the years) and very realistic in my budget once everything is factored in. After Dec won’t have to import through RAWS, meaning no need...- JAMESP_25

Still works out a lot cheaper than getting a RHD one here (minimum clean one is $80k) and I prefer LHD. At $35k US works out to about $65-70k AUD once all those factors considered, at current exchange, which blows my budget... but looking at spending less, so should be able to get one for...- JAMESP_25

Definitely a great price, but can’t import until December and with the unpredictable Australian exchange rate (keeps declining) it’s a gamble to lock in with a deposit.
