Based on the recomendations of this board, I have
been running Mobil 1 in my car, and will change it
at 3,000 miles.
I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with a supercharger. On
the recomendation of several racers in my area, I have
run Synergy synthetic oil in my truck since the first
oil change. The...
Well, I've narrowed it down to about 75pics so far.....
But the most fun has been racing the baby vipers
on my own little race course. That's an amazing
toy, how do I obtain it ? Seems like a retarded
cursur, but it's probably a high-tech thing. Can I
obtain it somehow ?
Life gets mo' betta at 120
They do in fact pump up the lumbar support in
the lower seat back. They work just like the doctor's.
Open the valve to let air out, close it and squeeze the
bulb to inflate the bladder in seat back.
If it's not working, check to make sure the hose doesn't
have a crack in it.
Will these bulbs work on 1st gen cars ?
I thought I read someplace where low beams were available, but high beams were not ? Or Visa versa ?
I see quite a few (lexus ?) cars with what appear to be blue
lights driving at night that are so bright I catch myself staring at the approaching car like...
When I changed my spark plugs a few weeks ago, I saw
blistering paint on the rear of both valve covers. Not
bubbles, but at least a few square inches. I was very careful
not to touch or break it, but clearly the paint is lifting off the valve covers. Has anyone else noticed this ?

Mind you, I'm a Chevy guy from way back, but.........
I'm at the gas station the other day when a guy comes up
to me after eye balling my car for quite a while.
"So, what's the story in this car ? It's a beauty !
I can't decide between a new Corvette or a Viper. What
do you think ?"
I told him...
They have 15 or so camera equiped vans that park in
different areas daily. They say that anything that causes the
plates to be non-legible is illegal.
This whole thing is a ploy by Lockeed Corp. They approach the
state, show them how they can generate millions in added income
by installing their...
The state of Hawaii began issuing photo speeding tickets
last week on the Island of Oahu. They nabbed almost 1000
speeders (1 mph or more over the limit) the first day !
They say that once they get the bugs worked out, they will
begin using the new system on all islands. The maximum speed
limit...

LIFE IS GOOD !!!!
Naive 1st gen owner, definite motor junkie,,,,,,ask me about chev small blocks........anyway, what obvious differences am I looking at between gen 1 and 2 engines besides rocker ratios ?
I've never driven a GTS, but I have driven MY RT/10 most
of the time with the soft top on simply because of weather
conditions here (it's tough to drive for more than an hour or so in either direction with out encountering at least "ominous"
clouds.)
Last weekend, the weather was predicted GREAT...
Re: The best looking supercharger I\'ve ever seen.......
I've seen a few superchargers, but never one
driven from behind as this appears to be. What
are they using to drive the supercharger ?

Welding on the car is out of the question. Yes, unbolting
the two nut on each side is all it takes. Then pull the
whole assembly straight out from the car off the two
hangers. This can even be done with the car on the ground.
I guess the clever way to swap out parts would be to remove
the...
You don't have to cut anything to remove the muffler.
Remove the sill cover, unbolt the header pipe from the
manifold and pull it out. Then you can cut what ever
you want off, but you'll have to put something in place
of the mufflers or cats because you still have to get the
exhaust to the...
I took a look at my oil filter adapter today, and I
see the "big nut" that you mentioned. Naturally, I do not
have a wrench that size. Can anyone tell me what size
wrench I need to remove and inspect this ? It looks
like a socket would be the best way to get at it.
Also, what am I looking for...
As I recall, the original purpose of the "rally" stripes
was for drivers to use to line up their approach and departure
angles on a race track. No reason at all for the stripes on the
roof or tail, except for symmetry.
