Gen V wheels on a Gen II RT / GTS: anyone photoshop this?
This comparison pic may have changed my perspective on things. I am very impressed with how true to the original the Gen V is. It looks so good that I was thinking of buying it on mostly looks alone. 1992-96 RT Hoodpads?
All the holes are off because the GEN1 hood had a small little silver square pad, not the nice big pad on the GEN2.- klamathpro

Ferrari's guys in the Ferrari forum talking about the new Viper
I know looks are subjective, but the F12 is HIDEOUS. The F12 has got to be the ugliest Ferrari since the Mondial. I mean, the front end is just wack. They say the GENV front end is busy? Color Match Front Grill for Gen V
It's crazy how much better a body colored grill looks. SRT has got to absolutely offer body colored grills. Look at how it perfectly sets it off. It makes me like the car even more. I'm not one to ever consider custom painting anything on a car, it always devalues the car, but this...- klamathpro

I'm disappointed in the Gen 5 forum
If SRT is listening, at least half, if not the majority agree the car looks fantastic, but the only letdown was the HP numbers. Mostly because of the Mopar engines launched a few months back that mislead us into thinking there was an 8.7 liter in the works. To redeem themselve in this one area...- klamathpro

New Viper is huge letdown
The only letdown is the horsepower. Everything else is fantastic. It will look even better in person, but this is really a great continuation of the Viper. Much better than the GEN3 vs GEN2. This is as close to GEN2's looks as it will get. The rear end is incredible, it looks like an Aventador...- klamathpro

Saw one on Ebay go for this price last month, clean pics and clean carfax, no reserve. Saw another go for $67K on autotrader, last month, sold before I got to it. Both with low miles. Guys, wake up, These sell slow in the 70k's and go faster in the 60k's. I've been monitoring these things...- klamathpro

GEN1's and 2's are already near rock bottom and won't drop much more. GEN3's and 4's will definately take the biggest hit, seeing there are still brand new GEN4 ACRs selling around for $90k. I've seen used GEN4 ACRs sell as low as $65k will less than 10K miles. Used, non-ACR GEN4's can already...- klamathpro

new Viper gets a mention on Top Gear
No GEN4 was ever tested on the UK Top Gear. The ACR would have taken the top spot on their track if it had been tested. A missed opportunity for more recognition. I personally think the GEN4 ACR is the most ignored and misunderstood Viper outside this community. Sadly that's why they didn't...- klamathpro

I can't say I would never sell my Viper, but I will always own one. I would rather have two Vipers, because I'll never get tired of a GEN1, but I wouldn't mind 700HP. A Gallardo down the road would be nice, but I wouldn't get rid of my Viper just to have it.- klamathpro

My 2013 Viper Illustration
Not "crazy" about the rendition, but I agree, the Viper is and always has been a supercar. Just a more affordable one. It held with the best of Lambo and Ferrari when it first came out and the ACR beats them all today.- klamathpro
