    SOLVED: The tray/pan under the car had one loose screw. The screw was slightly loose and the washer was vibrating.

    odd rattle/vibration sound...

    UPDATE: I got my car up to 60mph. I put the tranny in neutral. I turned the car off and coasted. The rattling was 100% uneffected by turning off the car. I think this rules out any drive train components. Would you guys agree?

    tonight, i am gonna get the car up to 60mph on an abondoned highway, i am going to put the car into neutral, and then turn the ignition off. that should rule out any mechanical issues. i will report back in 5 hours :2tu:

    would that not sound like it is coming from the foot well, or perhaps the front corners of the interior? this sounds like it is directly in the middle of the car between the two seats

    bolts would be a good idea....as I can see this rubber boot ripping again during my ownership. BUT, a rivet gun is quick and easy......... the plastic rivets are even easier

    The mopar tranny fluid is a 75W-85 . Amsoil does not make anything like this. What amsoil did you guys use?

    Thanks for that link to the parts list. Thats getting printed ASAP and stored in the garage. That tutorial is exactly what I need as well. I am going to go shopping around for nylon rivets. Hopefully homedepot will have them.

    Thanks Kirkinsb, I appreciate the info I took my shifter boot off. Shifts like butter now. That stiffened leather really effected the performance of the car. There is a rubber membrane under the boot that is severely ripped. I noticed ALOT of heat/wind blowing into threw the torn membrane...
