Thinking of pulling the trigger on an ACR Voodoo but ....

George...thats funny but I am always looking to add to the collection....My fave so far is the Sonic Blue Lightning with 500KMs....It really is a rocket for a truck. Way more nimble than the SRT's.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on an ACR Voodoo but ....

Kenric, I totally agree with you.....you are absolutely bang on.....one thing, my Gen 3 sure did not have this type of build quality issues. Its stuff like this that drives me crazy. I hope they can adjust it....but I'm not holding my breath.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on an ACR Voodoo but ....

Jim, I could not believe the quality. My Gen 3 does not have any issues like this. Did you notice anything else wrong with the car. all I know is it is going to take a heck of a lot of work to get out the swirl marks.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on an ACR Voodoo but ....

I walked away because there was a huge gap on the rear trunk lid and left rear fender where the light and rear deck meet. The gap was excessive and it looked like it could not be tightened up because both pieces were the cast composite. Has anybody experienced this and do any of you guys out...

    Traded up Vipers

Just curious but why would GM have a picture of a Viper on their magazine? Unless I am missing something this does not make sense to me.

    PROJECT: "HARDCORE ACR-700R" Has Begun

Thanks for the clarification guys on the "rust". Hopefully the wrap works but I personally like the metallic ceramic coated headers so that these welding stains will be covered up. I have installed headers on quite a few vehicles and all I can say is that they are a continual PITA.....from bolts...

    PROJECT: "HARDCORE ACR-700R" Has Begun

Just wondering but why do those headers look like they are already rusting? I would be trying to clear this up before putting these on the car. It sounds like a cool project though and should be fun but it would be a cold day in hell before I put on rusted headers. Just my .02.

Attn Los Angeles Gen III and IV owners - need a test drive

Number one, I would suggest that if you want to drive a Viper don't ask some stranger to drive their car. I would go to Vegas and rent one and drive the car to Phoenix or just take it on the highway. good luck

how not to leave a bar

Absolutely fair comment. I look at that ZR1 and I still like that car.

    2006 ASC McLaren Viper

I would agree way too much money and this car has been marketed everywhere one looks. Too much greed here as this car still cannot compete with the new technology of the ACR....which are selling for 100K. my bet is the value of this is falling like a rock even though it is a one off and pretty...

    ACRX Headers

Absolute garbage from China. I looked at those collectors with those spikes and wow, what were those guys thinking.....In fact it looks like that spike may fall off due to the intense heat as it looks like it is barely tacked on.

Considering selling the Viper for a Ford GT. Opinions

Salvage means turn, and walk away as fast as you can. I would never touch this stuff with a 10' pole. One day at 120 mph on a track you get that terrible high speed wobble, the car shakes like crazy and you go sideways.....not the best thing for your well being. They are nice cars for sure but...

    Protection group option on ACR's

Vooodoo thanks for the pic. I take it this is the one that comes with the car? Not really that fancy as I thought that a Vooodoo cover would have some sort of exclusivity like maybe Vooodoo on the side but obviously I was wrong. I had Woodhouse get me a custom Blue cover for my 06. It was really...

    Protection group option on ACR's

Chelseasnake, I have never sent PMs before so I do not even know how as I do not seem to have that option. I have been a member for years but never PM'd. Anyway my e-mail is [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you.

    Protection group option on ACR's

Bruce, the dealer said that he would supply the cover. They are pretty pricey for sure but as long as I can get the same one that would normally have come with the car that would be great. Your car looks absolutely wicked by the way. This site is so helpful. Thank you.

    Protection group option on ACR's

Thank you so much Vooodoo. What color is the cover as it sounds like it can be ordered from the parts counter which is fine by me? The car I am looking at has no cover in the trunk so the dealer said that it could come from the parts department. Its guys like you that really make this website so...

    Protection group option on ACR's

I am just wondering if anyone out there with an ACR, more specifically VoooDoo edition coupe had a car cover come with the car when they ordered the $450 protection group option? Why I ask is I am looking at a VoooDoo and do not see the car cover option but the car did come with special floor...

Smart ass Dave. A guy asks a serious question and the clown responds with an answer like that....there's another website for this garbage so go over there....

vid of my nsx and my viper

I really wonder why parents are so compelled to buy their kids cars? I believe that if these teens would get a job, work hard, save money and then buy a car then they will be more appreciative of the car that they bought with their own hard earned money.
