    My experience with third: Early on, it was a REAL problem, and I never knew if I was going to hit my 3rd gear shift or miss it. I started flipping my hand and putting my thumb down to force me to bias the lever right when I shifted. It's been a year and a half now, and I never miss anymore...

    Here's my best from this weekend. I'm such a newb. Very inconsistent with the wheelspin, but one launch was fairly good. I'm 100% bone stock 99 ACR with Pilot Sports, 20psi. If I can do a 12.1@117, anyone can. Elevens someday? I can only dream. Most of my runs were actually 12.4@116

    It's been my experience that the only way an MSD will eliminate pinging is if it has a boost retard. High energy sparks help spark blowout, not pinging. If I'm wrong on this, someone please chime in...

    Thanks Mike-- The ONLY reason I'm not at VOI is the 2000 dollar ship fee. I'm not poor (yet), but I'm not stupid either. 20% of all vipers live in California. I vote for California next. over the last year, we've had ~5 inches of rain total. Lowest in all recorded history.
