Don't forget about rounding the sharp angle on the "gill".
I think that's the number-one, best thing you've come up with.
Regards Toby! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the scan, Jason--that was very enjoyable reading.
Instead of bringing up the S2000 comparisons, the guy compares it to a ferrari. Sheesh. I'm trying to like it, but even I wouldn't go that far.
I'm sure this has been done before, but that was then.
Time for a new survey on the miles you guys are putting on your rides.
Mine is getting "up there" at 20,000 miles. Over the hill for a viper, really.
I put 20K miles on my other cars in a heartbeat! It made me start to wonder, is...

I've emailed back and forth with a guy on ebay who is selling his.
He has set his price--83K.
He tells me that he's already paid for the car, and he'll give it to me for 83K.
He ALSO says that the price is indeed set. He did not tell me what msrp was, but since he'd take 83K for the SRT I'm...

No worries--you probably won't ever see one here in the city, either.

Your experience is not strange. If the computer hadn't learned yet, your car can and will run extreemly weird.
When I bought my viper, the battery had been dead. We jumped it, and got on the road.
It would not even IDLE. I had to keep my foot on the accelerator just to drive!
Well, I...

Brett--
My (any) '99 ACR destroys the 405HP Z06 (assuming 3150 lbs. with half tank) in power-weight.
Having said that, in the quarter mile and 0-60, it sure seems like ( according to actual viper driver's experience ) the cars are too close to call. <yikes!> I call it the ZOG MOJO.
If they get the zog to 435HP, it may then be faster stock-stock in the normal metrics (0-60, quarter). Ironic that by that time, the GTS and R/T will be out of production. Talk about just-NOT-in-time.
It would be nice if Cheby humped up and threw the 427 motor in the thing and had done with...
Re: Motor Trend Survey Results: \"What Is The Hottest New Supercar?\"
If you guys would just take my predictions seriously none of this would surprise you!
Still awaiting confirmation of my performance predictions
One day long ago when I lived in--let us say--the bad part of town...I found myself on a deserted road with an old Malibu in front of me.
I was on my ZX-11 (10.29 Quarter-mile @ 130).
We were cruising along at 40mph and I dropped it down into second and signaled him to go.
From 40-80 he...

Ron--
Have fun, baby--I'm going to admit that I flaked on this one--I was SO CLOSE to coming. More posing for me is in store I guess. I'm shopping for helmets now, though.
It should be a completely different experiencev for you with a V-10, as...
MIKE BABY!
It was great meeting you (hi there Scott!) and driving around in the ACR even though we didn't open it up (we should have! next time).
Clearly nothing competes with your "company car" though..
Anyhow, it's so funny you posted this--Someone who lurked the board emailed me privately...
GOOD NEWS!
I attacked the door adjustment again yesterday before our viper get-together in Danville.
Bingo! I was able to use the two center bolts on the bulkhead side of the hinge to lever the door forward, like so:
(numbering bolts on bulkhead hinge from top to bottom, 1-4)
Loosen 1 and...
I took a close look at the other GTS at my office. His doors have MUCH more clearance, and perfectly straight clearance all the way up when closed.
Two hours did I spend yesterday adjusting (it was actually my drivers side, regardless of the pic) my door. In the end I was satisfied that the...
