I tell people who ask about the "test tubes" that they are "lift indicators", when the front wheels come off the ground these "indicators" will reduce the gas flow till all 4 wheels are back on the ground. It was a safety feature that the Dept. of Transportation forced on Dodge.
And people...
I know this is not directly Viper related but I wanted to get it out to the masses. I was bored this morning and ran across this old thread.
I am a member of the MidSouth Viper club, about a month ago we started receiving an e-mail from this troll (Georgi). It had a virus atached.

Done:
1. Ensure the alarm system is not armed.

You have already had one offer for someone to look at the car-if it is not in the Dallas area post a note as to where it is. I would bet that a Viper owner in the area would go look with you. This is really the best thing to do-a owner will know what to look for (since you are not having it...
Look it over REAL good and don't get such a hard on for it you can't walk away. I would have had it checked out by a Viper tech before you go look at it. Or at least a fellow Viper owner.

Just thought I would toss out the suggestion...
I've had her for 18 months now. This morning the forecast was 85 and sunny (it's been as high as 110 heat index this week). Cool!! Time to drive the Viper to work (hmmmm....wonder if I can call in sick). Took a trip to the bank at lunch and had a 'slight' 50 mile detour. In that time numerous...
I have the exact same problem. Full tank=3/4 in gauge. Empty=1/4 left I get to nervous and go ahead and fill up at that point. It seems to be getting worse. Anybody with any ideas of what (if anything) we should do?

My thoughts exactly-why no insurance? It's sad to see those pictures but what if he had hit someone else? If someone else had be hurt he can lose everything he owns not just the Viper. It is against the law to drive with no insurance (at least in my state).
I'm glad nobody got hurt.
