    Attention jeff lemke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! Seriously. That extra little width separates an exotic from that "supercar" look. The difference is huge.

Little bit Ferrari, little Aston Martin, whole lot of Viper

I see the Koenigsegg Agera more than any of the other cars mentioned, in the front that is. http://uncrate.com/p/2011/02/koenigsegg-agera-r-xl.jpg

    Dear Ralph

LOL. I don't want it to be $145k but to do it right, carbon fiber panels, widebody (which IMO is what the GTS should have been) isn't going to be cheap. If they don't cut corners and make it look every bit as bad ass as the GTS-R it'll be worth every penny. Note. This is assuming the GTS is...

    Dear Ralph

You have the potential to make the sickest ACR known to man. The GTS-R is pure win. If you really care about the Viper, the community, and it's reputation, make the ACR look as close the GTS-R as legally possible. Same width, same hood (sans hood pins), etc. Do that, sell it for $145k, and make...

    Only 640 hp? WTF

Seriously!? Do you not remember when the original Viper was revealed? $45k with MORE HP than Ferrari and Lambo 3X the price.

Welcome the 2013 SRT Viper GTS

WTF. The race car version rear is what the street version should have looked like. SMDH. Hopefully the ACR has the race body. I like a lot about the new Viper but it's a letdown IMO. Looks like no crow will be eaten. My biggest concern was the rear of the car and the rear looks weak. The tail...

... and the live reveal shocker will be?

Finally a slammed car from the factory enabled by a nose lifting system similar to Ferrari and Lamborghini.

    When mixing Italian with American...

It WAS. Then Daimler stole what they had developed for the Viper and created the SLS Mercedes. The new Viper was created long after Daimler left the picture.

    Gen V images leaked

I'll wait till tomorrow for final judgement...but these pics confirm my fears. Terrible front to back width ratio. The same problem that plagued the gen III/IV. Also, it looks to have a really high back again instead of that low/squatty exotic GTS stance. Hopefully it's just the angle :(

    Gen V roadster

I'd like both. A total vert with a different rear end, and then a coupe with a targa top that can fit in the trunk. If it can't fit that's ok too.

    4 teasers later...

Amazing you still don't get it. Perhaps the internet is not for you. All the naysayers (myself included) want the Gen V to be bad ass. We are just saying that based on the recent track record it's a little hard for many of us to have confidence. Ralph made A LOT of worrisome comments, about...

2013 SRT Viper teaser four: one last look before the debut.

As long as the rear balances out the front. The rear needs to bulge out. If it does, SRT has done a very good job of concealing it.

2013 SRT Viper teaser four: one last look before the debut.

Agreed. Unfortunately it will be red. That's been the first color they show every time. I guess since the coupe is the first reveal now they're going to make it red. If SRT is smart and really wants to market the car well they will bring at least 2, maybe 3 of the coupes. A snakeskin green with...

cloaked Gen V on new live reveal page.

Have you ever tried being a non-believer? It's fun, I swear! All kidding aside my hope is rising. This looks very promising!

New teaser Facebook 2013 likes in 2013 minutes

I was a teenager once and the Viper was my favorite car. Do you know how much I needed marketing? None. The car itself was all the marketing I needed...never saw a commercial or advertisement. I saw one on display at the huge mall in Edmonton while on vacation and I saw one by the galleria in...

I'm just tired of the whole teaser trend all together. I think I'll wait for the reveal.

    Wish List

I don't mind a paddle shift option (TRUE), not some BS automatic tiptronic with paddles just for effect. They'd have to borrow it from Ferrari...the question is can it handle the torque Now AWD? Absolutely not. Not now, not ever. I don't give a **** if the Vin Diesels and Paul Walker rice...

    Wish List

Sorry to be a broken record but a widebody ACR. Think Mercedes black series. The reason I stress so much about width is that and overall height are what determines the car's road presence. You only have to see a Murci/CarerraGT, etc. coming at you or riding in front of you to know what I mean...

    Crickets

I really had hopes for a supercar-looking Viper that was low and really hugged the road. Instead it seems they went more the way of the Ferrari 599/F12 route with a taller, more narrow car. To me that takes away that gawk factor. The 599 is a beautiful car but it's not a neck breaker like a...

2013 Gen V picture on Leftlanenews

No. It shouldn't. The Viper is a street legal road racer that just happened to end up being a damn good drag car. RWD murders AWD on the track with qualified drivers. Adding 300+lbs of weight just so you can be Fast and Furious like Vin Diesel is stupid IMO. Stick with the road racing prowess.
