Agree with what said but with one addition: you're forgetting the investment made into the platform in the form of non-recurring engineering (i.e.: research, development, testing, etc) that has to be done long before the final product is ready for production. I would guess the bulk of this...
Deny. Word has it that 2010 will be a complete production year and that 2011 will be a special edition of the car to end it. This assumes Cerberus doesn't wise up and realize the value of the car to the company.
Like it. Not quite as much HP gain as I expected, but the car sounds meaner (not too loud), the sills are alot cooler and the cabin stays cooler as well.
I've got the full Mopar Race Exhaust on my '06 coupe with no cats and o2 sims. Don't know anything about any cat-back as the race exhaust is a complete system.
Thanks for the tip. I've been backhanding the shift knob on the 2 to 3 upshift. On my GTS, I've got the Hurst short throw shifter and an MGW shift knob so I'm guessing that the issue isn't magnified nearly as much as it is on my stock SRT-10 Coupe.
Would the issues with the transmission not allowing you to shift fast occur on all gears or just one or two? My tranny very intermittently does this on the 2nd to 3rd shift when done at WOT. However, the symptom in my case is that the shift goes as normal - clutch in, push to 3rd gear gate...
