    This. The C7 Vette's a pretty good looking car until you get to the back end of it. Even ignoring the rear end it still doesn't hold a candle to the looks of the Gen V Viper.

Your #1 and #2 plus the rest of my experience with them tells me Dodge doesn't have any business selling a car as expensive as the Viper and it doesn't seem they're going to be able to pull off this "SRT" brand thing (which may have helped)...

    There actually are real discounts available on AutoTrader. I found a black and gunmetal GTS for $3500 off MSRP. I also found a few reds and LEs for near invoice - no funny business in the ads either. I'm feeling like a first-class sucker right about now.

    IIRC it's been a couple of weeks since it first went to frame on VOTS. Just talked to SRT and the status on VOTS now matches what they see. Not sure how accurate it'll prove to be, but I'm told the scheduled ship date is 6/26.

    They're in the process of building my car and I'm still pretty aggravated by the number of black and gunmetal GTS on AutoTrader, and not just "in transit" cars but real-life existing cars sitting in showrooms.

    855-SRT-TEAM agrees with this. They told me the car should be complete in another day or two then it'll have to wait for a truck to Bernie...then on to me from there.
