    DYNO NUMBERS FOR MY MODS 2002 ACR

    I'm surprised you got more HP with the Mopar Perf ECU. Did you make your run on the OEM unit without rebooting it? (disconnecting the battery) I have the same mods. I haven't dynoed it both ways but it runs faster in the quarter with the stock computer. I threw the Mopar unit away.

    Re: Why didn\'t dodge go with the ZF transmission instead of the t-56? If you have an aftermarket shifter and the problem didn't exist prior, check your shifter stops. Stops set to close to the gate will cause it to pop out of gear. Back off the set screws a turn.

    2003 is a CV setup. Don't think it's a bolt in. It's got to have different outer knuckles.

    I've had numerous warranty claims, Even the district rep saw the car. Headers and all. The reality is the factory wants Viper owners happy. If it's not flagrant your OK with bolt ons. If they give you a problem Whine!!

    You have 1 to 1 through the trans in some gear no matter what rear you run. It's the final drive ratio that is affected by the rear. Much different with a 3.07 vs 3.73

    After battery disconnect. Return settings to Zero. Cycle by starting car and shutting off at least four times. Then, Work up to your settings by reving the engine and moving gradually toward your setting. Then drive and fine tune.

    Then what determines the base gear ratio of an accurate reading. Are we assuming 3.07 is a standard measurement and anything different needs to be factored? Corvette or Mustang have "shorter" gears to start with?

    numbers are on the tail shaft. Tech can just switch them out from old to new.
