    Insurance Binder??

An insurance binder normally means you are binded for coverage and the policy is on it's way as soon as it's typed up. The binder comes from the agent or broker then he notifies the ccompany of the insurance and they send the policy usually within a 10 day period. Usually you won't get a binder...

Those half grapefruit sized lane divider bumps can do some damage...

Dave,,, I think I'd be talking to the Highway dept. about the damage... Same as with pot holes. I've got damaged fixed before but had to take a picture of the place it happened. The State has an Insurance for it.. Same as when the snow plow went by my Tahoe opposite direction throwing rocks cost...

    short throw shifter questions

I didn't have any problems changing the shifter on a 99RT and my GTS all from the top. Installed the B&M in both and then I cut down the shifter shaft 1.5 inch the drilled it and tapped it to thread back on. You just need the correct tools....

    Serious Vibration In The Rain

60 MPH in 6th sounds like a good load on the engine at a REAL low RPM. Then add the load of pushing rain. Sounds like the engine would be at such a low speed under load it would be cutting out.I never go into 6th at 60, ever, the engine is at idle RPM. Not til about 70. What RPM are you turning...

    Hurst Shifter "Problem"

I also used the B&M shifter and cut down the shaft 2 inches with my die grinder then drilled the shaft center out and tapped it to the same threads... works great. If you don't have the tools then most shops should.

Vipers In Snow, Post your snow pictures!

Think, I'd be moving to Alaska!!! If it was that hot or find another place to live. It's easier to put on more clothes than take them off. Ohh, the Viper is in the garage. But, I just moved to Salem and really liking it here.:)

    Viper Clutch System 101

Rob, I don't think your leg could hold up long enough for that to happen. I think it would wear out the master cylinder or slave first. BUT, the worst part for wear on all these parts is not using them and sitting and having the seals get dried and hard.

    Viper Clutch System 101

I agree with Viper Specialty. Sounds like syncro or thick gear oil to me. The fact that it doesn't grind between shifts and shifts leaves out the hydralics.

Milky Oil / Steam after long sit... should I be worried?

Is the milky oil on the dipstick? Does the oil at the tip look clear? In a cool climate when the car is started and shut down without the oil getting hot will build a lot of moisture from the combustion process and it gets into the crankcase. It's vapors rise to the top of the valve covers and...
