Nemo - Can you post a picture of the broken shaft, I'm curious where it broke? Also, what's the last four of your VIN, maybe we can get an idea of when it was built and whether or not it has solid shafts (although the picture might show us that!). How many miles on it when you got it?
Make sure the PS fluid level is right at or slightly above the full line of the reservoir. If you don't track the car you can tolerate a little higher fluid level and this will help.
I did it at VIR last year, was well worth the trip. It is not however a technical driving school/class but rather a chance to get in some SRT products, get on the track, and have some fun:D!
My two cents - Flow numbers are like chassis dyno numbers - make sure you are comparing apples to apples. If you get the numbers from the same bench at the same inlet depression with the same inlet/outlet configurations then fine, go ahead and compare. Otherwise forget it. Besides, it's not...
Same day/same driver at Milan Dragway outside of Detroit last year a bone stock 2007 Z06, a bone stock 2006 Viper Coupe and a bone stock 2008 Viper Coupe:
’08 Viper best 11.7@128 mph
'07 Z06 best 12.3@117 mph
’06 Viper best 12.3@116 mph
It was not a great day weather wise, humid low/mid...
Before you do too much I'd just check and make sure your fuel pressure is OK. There's no reason it should run lean if everything is right, they weren't that way from the factory. Maybe your fuel filter is "old" or maybe their wide range O2 sensors need to be calibrated? Just a suggestion...
Moving to Michigan? Why?! Not trying to be negative, it's always been home and I love it (at least in the spring, summer and fall!). Welcome! Let us know where you end up!
I couldn't see what you meant by a "bouncy" tach. Could it be you are simply hitting the 6400 rpm rev limiter and seeing the cut back to 6200 rpm and so on?
Nothing like Indy or a few of you others but they are my babies and I love em all...

Try the Marriott Centerpoint. It's very nice and only about 1/2 mile off Woodward at Square Lake Road (mid - northern part of Woodward). The local GTO club usually has a block of rooms there but they are not having their annual show this year so there may still be rooms available. It's a bit out...
Pete - On this Thanksgiving Day one of the things I'm thankful for is having the opportunity to work with you and being able to call you my friend. Thanks for everything over the years, the Viper and every SVE, PVO and SRT product would not have been the same if at all were it not for you! Enjoy...
Mark - Very sorry to hear about your ordeal. I know you feel terrible right now but remember you still have your health, home and family. Maybe a nice new 2009 Coupe or ACR would help put a smile back on your face?
