    Momo Steering Wheel

I've installed several Sparco and Momo steering wheels with a quick release (and buttons on the spokes for the horn). It will set a light, fuse or no fuse, you have to remove the push-in bulb from the back of the cluster. Or you can make up a circuit with matched resistor to the air bag.

Upgraded Sway Bars for Gen II

Yes, I fitted the Woodhouse front sway bar ends on my '97 with good results. There was no stiffer rear option for the Gen2's at the time.

    '04 CD player malfunction

Thanks for the help, great price on the VPA units, but I already have a spare. Glad to read '05 audio's not done it (the spare I have Neil is the Euro '05 I was going to get decoded for you, but put it on the shelf when you lost your Coupe) :( They coded them on the UK cars and I wasn't given...

6 point harness bolt locations Gen4

The Gen2 had such a 5th point fixing, you could find it with a pin through the carpet. Gen 3 does not (or at least my '04 doesn't) I took the carpet up to find its not there! Yet there are the nice pull out trim pieces / access to spare shoulder strap fixing points (which Gen2 didn't have)...

    '04 CD player malfunction

Did a search on hear and found a couple of posts of the 2004 OE 6-stack CD player part of the audio quit working, just like mine has (radio still plays fine). Can anyone comment if the '05 year players have shown this fault too?

    SRT action Video!

Hey, I just got to check back here, glad you liked the vid, it has been a big hit, thank you for all your kind comments. But, even better was the day itself, although the weather was awful, rain and more rain, our Viper was busy most of the day giving rides for the Stroke charity at nearly a...

How do you say "No" Politely

I say no, but then offer to take then for a 'spin' or maybe some call it a ride! ...anyway, they are normally speechless afterwards :rolaugh: and with a little tremor :smirk:

    Oil Cooler Lines

Yes, I've seen many do it, a piece of braid will chaf and fray and puncture the other line. Rubber hose cut length ways and slipped on, or some zip ties will solve the problem, the later Gens actually have line holder-spacer-guides, so you could always obtain these to fit as another option!

    SRT action Video!

Had a fun day making this vid at Castle Combe circuit in the UK. Didn't really know what to expect, just got a call to ask can you come along with the Vipers, for a Media / Press day to promote the charity rides event we are doing this coming weekend for the Stroke Association at the circuit...

Show me your Eibach Lowered Vipers

I use 6" Eibach springs, with Moton 2-ways. The low 'perspective' may be of a little different perception with this Mamba as he's wearing Comp Coupe adapted side panels, and I fitted some diffuser blades from a Comp Coupe too. Ride height is set within 1/2" of Comp Coupe settings all round and...

    Men's heaven: Bonneville !!!!

We stayed an extra day to make a trip out to the Bonneville Salt flats, is a place I've always wanted to go and experience (maxed the rental out into 3 figures!) too bad I didn't have my Viper there.

GEN V Viper picture at VOI 11....

Did anyone notice some of the likeness to the Firepower concept, especially rear (which design was based on the current Viper chassis!) Ok maybe more flair than likeness. Anyway, exciting to see what the future brings. But, enough of the visual, I would like to know if they are going aluminium...

Dan Cragin the VOI 11 Good Samaritan

DC Performance / Dan is a good-egg as we would say over here, (not sure that is a USA saying) but basically he is internationally recognised as good too :D Good to talk with you Dan at VOI.

Solo drivers and folks that didn't bring their car

I wonder how the Nurburg record ACR felt when I drove :headbang: He was a peach to drive, OMG... such a nice drive, the track was totally new to me and I was hesitant only just a few times, but the car rocked, so nice and easy to drive. I even got to take him back through paddock etc and he...

    Winnings and JonB

I was just happy to sit and watch so many Viper people winning raffle prizes of awesome Partrack give aways, as the smiles were contagious. I'd claimed the table viewer of the Pacecar pictured, and having been treated to a past pace car ride with JonB (for the race) a previous event, this was a...

Wet, wet, wet 1/4 miles UK

Where in the world (other than wet olde UK) can you run a quarter mile in the rain along a pebble dash sea front? ...This is the oldest motorsports sanctioned event still held in UK, and the grip in the dry isn't great, and the surface is also a little bumpy, but it is an honour to have your...

Post up the best pic of your SRT

Yes, well spotted, it is wide! An original early Comp Coupe hood. You would not belive the work required to fit that hood, and have everything else look and be 'right' on the car. I updated the early Comp Coupe to the later aero body, and the hood we had looked over and loved running on track...

Need help finding a picture.....trailer made from a Viper

Hi 1Tony1 way to go, I had the same idea quite some years ago, have just been emailed a link to your post here! I fitted a tow hitch to my GTS, so I could take a small trailer to the track with wheels, I made a simple trailer, but decided if I was going to haul with a Viper, I had to do it in...

    In car vid, GTS-R.

Here's a little vid recently shot in-car in of a GTS-R at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Mike will know this car! Florent Moulin's Year 2000 ex 24 hours Daytona, race number #92. Sister car #91 is in the Chrysler museum. It was awesome to drive :headbang:
