    SRT Gen3 shaker rig

Yes, Ohlins are going to be doing Gen 1, 2, 3, 4 spring / damper package. Woodhouse Performance have been running Ohlins on the race cars for several years now. The neat thing I liked about them was no remote cansters on a line, this may not appeal to all, as there's no cool-factor of showing...

    Door glass mirror replacement?

That thought occurred to me when the mirror cracked, 7 years bad luck. I try not to tempt fate, but somehow seem to taunt it. I tried one glass shop over here to cut one, but they did not want to try! The scoop I made a duct from, all sealed down in through the door. Mirror will be...

    Door glass mirror replacement?

So I started doing this little project... cool air scoop in through the mirror housing on a Comp Coupe, the mirror is as street car and still had the full electrics in there! Anyway, I put the mirror glass on the seat for safe keeping, while I worked on the aero scoop and ducting, sat in the...

    SRT Gen3 shaker rig

Being a biker I already had big respect for the name "Ohlins". So when invited to go to Ohlins HQ in NC and set up / test, SCCA race and street cars on their shaker rig, how could I refuse! Firstly the rig has to warm up, so the car sort of does a GI-Jane work-out on the 4 wheel platforms once...

Don't Gen III half-shafts have a better slip-joint? & do they fit Gen IIs?

The axel end splines through the hubs are the same, but shafts differents lengths between Gen2/3, besides different diff stubs, you could mount a gen3 diff, but you'd need to weld in the mounts to do so.

    100K, finally

Way to go Tom, better to use it than queenie it! I'm not far behind you... by about 35K miles! But our gas is shockingly $$ right now, paid $8.35 for good pump grade recently... Love the green, keep on keeping the oil and brake fluid clean, the cosmetics of a Viper look good any finish (ok...

    Pics UK meet

The location is Cheddar, home of the famous cheese! The road would make a surperb hill climb, but chances of getting it shut down for such an event are slim. It is quite a climb to the top! There were many, many nice cars that showed up, but is this the one that might have you asking...

5 Viper owners all met up a for a UK petrol head gathering, not all brought their Vipers, but many awesome cars. Car of the show for me was th Deusenberg type J just because of its amazing build. Been wanting to post this pic up for ages, just don't get much internet time these days, just too good a photo found in archives not to share with the Viper nation, and neat story. Nads sub 10

Thanks to all for the nice words. Gosh, not posted here for sometime, sorry no time, just been manic with work and things to do. Because of budget, I'm still on the OE suspension, and its well worn-out, but is good for weight transfer! The runs were on DOT street legal radials. I don't have...

Brake Covers available for Gen 1/2 rear calipers!!

Tom these look very nice, gosh didn't realise you were going all bling :smirk: maybe I should too (?) but I've always been quite proud of doing your 40mm rear piston upgrade and showing off my stock weany calipers; yet, I could out-brake (as in not front lock up) a 5k fancy upgrade done overhere...

Tremec 6060 in a Gen. II?

Not been on line here in ages! Firstly John Donato and Woodhouse Performance are the best in T56 upgrades. They've supplied me with good parts for several builds, over many years. Last year I was testing a development trans (for a company I was working with). There are street cameras everywhere...

    Removing Finish on Valve covers

Yes, you can use house paint stripper (I got the gel type) paint it on with a brush (junk afterwards) and do it on a garbage bag liner, wrap the cover once gelled to stop drying out, and give nasty stuff a chance to strip! Pics here...

Whats better that AB's quality wires...none, they are second to none, for fit, working as a conducting wire, heat temp endurance, street or track racing performance, these I've found are the best, Adam recently sent a red set (to me, that I'm sending to Europe to go run the Nurburguring) but...
