I would second the great job they both did...with Maureen in the lead...right Jess ;). Our club is fortunate to have the contributions of time and effort they make for us. We had a great time. It's a haul down there, but seeing everyone is well worth the trip.
We got the purse Frank. All is...
I had the same thing happen 2 years ago on a little trip. Upper hose chafed through on the Roe bracket. I shortened the hose up and ordered a new one from Tators when we got home. Surprisingly no air or burping problems. Just topped it off and was good to go.
Because we travel very long...
I believe the rear intake area was redone a few times over the years to help correct the 9/10 plug fouling issues by modifying the air flow. I have one of each. The older ones are pretty much a square or rectangular intake set up. My newer one (production run #6) is more of a tapered design...
I would tend to agree with this. We have both set ups. Both cars with Belanger headers, both have 5 pound Roes. One has no cats and 3" Belanger exhaust. One has hi flow cats, 3" Corsa track exhaust, and factory heat shields.
I have no intention of removing the shields on the car with cats...
I guess everyone's car is a little different. I don't have cats. That could be a factor. Our car has idled in lots of parades at 90+ degrees for over an hour with no issues. Track session every year. No brake boiling. I have stock plug wires, no plug heat shields. I change the wires every 20,000...
No. In a Gen II that's when you hit the wall in an RT/10. .74 OD can't push it any faster. The aerodynamics of a GTS will get you to the low 190s in some car books.
Steve
Belanger headers, no shields, 70,000 miles on headers, no heat problems with any wiring or elsewhere.
Make sure you have the HiPo Engineering power steering cap mod or rig something up similar. The PS caps absolutely will come off by themselves if you don't continually check them. That's how the...
I am not aware of any chip on a GenII viper.
I think 3:45s are a better choice...3:33s may be the best all round gear if you can find them. From 0-150, there is not a big difference in ET due to shift points and RPM. 0-top end is a different story---but how often will that happen? The weak...
All good suggestions Dan. As for our house.....let's just some libating and frivolity occurred ;) .....and then the cops came. My brother wanted his FX35 inserted between the Vipers as the sheriff rolled around the corner. The lights were all flashing. We made him a nice picture for his...
We have the Hurst set up in the 01 ACR. Came with it. I like the very positive shift feel as it clicks into position. We don't run this car real hard, so I have no idea the durability with hard use. I don't like it enough to swap the other one out.

Yes, right in the middle (3 O'clock) of the pipe at the turnout area....driver's side My Belangers came with an O2 bung on the top of the pipe -- in this same area. That is basically the factory location. I installed the factory O2 back in this location. I did not have to extend the O2 pigtail...
As I understand it, the main function of a crossover pipe is to carry any imbalance of exhaust due to any unequal exhaust pipe length. Other than that, different iterations of a crossover probably produce different sound characteristics. I've always been told a crossover will have the most...
I've had Norcal and Lloyds. If you don't use your car much, either will last a long time. We use our car a lot and the Viper insignia on either starts to tear up pretty quick. I am tall and that's where my foot wants to rest when on the highway. The Lloyds seem to be holding up just slightly...
Thanks. We were fortunate to have been able to be in the right place at the right time a couple years ago........the Woodward Dream Cruise. It's 1 of 51 and one of a kind. Here's a completely unplanned little clip taken by our son a couple days after we got it . The Beast The tune fits well as...
She's a beauty Bill! I remember being at your house in early May when the call came from John G. confirming the order. Careful breakin' that thing in with the cold weather :2tu:
Steve
Here is the Autoform GTS/RS wing and front splitter . There is no reduction in clearance from stock. The bottom lip of the fascia is still the lowest point of the front end. It appears lower only because it sticks out further. Our driveway is on quite a slope, with a big curb to go over at the...
Steel Gray. Bought new--factory pick up 3/00. 125,000 KM. Modified. Run pretty hard, including at least one track session per season. We've been all over this country and a little bit of Canada in it. It's seen lots of rain, some sleet and snow as well. I try to spin a set of rears off every...
I not sure which exhaust this is...kind of sounds like Belangers, but it's pretty darn good clip of a Roe blower coming at ya! :2tu: Works for me!
Supercharged Viper - Video

Thanks Tony. Actually that clip was made pre-blower in 2004, and done with a handheld PDA device. Sorry for the confusion. The car is louder now, probably because I'm pushing a bunch more air in and trying to push a bunch more out. I have HS roller rockers (which have worked just fine and never...
Leave the stock 02s in the factory location--collector area. That is the best place. Moving to a single tube is not sensing the other 4 tubes at all. Problem is that depending on the year of your car, you may set a O2 heater code MIL. Most 2000-02 cars will set this light with Belanger headers...
My trusty Vipair shows the IAT, as sensed in the stock location, to be 20-30 degrees cooler than the stock airbox set up in the 01 car. This goes for idling as well as hard log runs.
If anyone has a Vipair they wish to part with.....I'd be happy to take it off their hands for a 'modest' sum...
5 pounder. One WB in the driver's side collector area. Upgraded VEC 2 to 3. LTFT set to around +3-5% by boosting the base set from 65% to 70% using the EASE tool..........before monkeying with cylinder trim. My plugs are all the same color. I'll check again in the spring, but all is well with...
