Not via my rear view mirror... :lol
The only way to tellthe difference is to study to badges stuck to the trunk. I ran into this yeaterday: is that a GT? as I close to about 3-4 car lengths, I find out it's a Shelby.....Ok, cool, now what kind of Shelby? Looks like a GT500 with crooked...
I wanted to post a VCA friendly video (no speeding, crashes, etc.) :D If folks do look on the `tube they'll find tons of "fast forward" motorcycle videos - watch the lean angles....yep, it's a great set of roads!!!!
I can't wait!
Once the FGT motor was dropped in the stangs the sky is the limit on power. So anything you remember/saw out of a FGT you can see from the GT500. I do expect a new fleet of 1000+ HP Shelby street racers very, very soon. Once someone figures out where to cram the turbos......the power making...
Just found one NIB. Thanks to Happy56 &`99 for the offer to loan their's to me!
Gues I can let me mom out of the sweat shop for now :p
JonB found me. I bought many, many parts from PartsRack, then wen VPA came out I forgot about Jon - I shouldn't have forgot about JonB.....:omg:

dirty holes....awesome!!!!
PM me the info - I'll take you up on this (I can give you my FedEx # to use, etc.).
Happy56,
With you selling your car let me go with 99's cover as a pattern.
The VCA rocks!!!!!!
99,
The pattern part will be quick. We have a pretty good upholstry supply...

.....ahem....you got anything with a V8, RWD & around 3500 pounds? (left eye twitching the entire time....)
This is where I'm at with it. Make my hobbies pay for themselves. If I screw up and make money in the process it's a bonus! There is a ton of "deals" on rebuilt/salvage titled exotics. I'll talk to the attorney about the weeds.
The track car would be a very small group of cars. There are...
What do you think is a good price? Keep in mind you'll burn thru $3k in tires, pads, fluids, etc. Wear on the track is 10:1 vs. the street (increased replacement of steering/suspension/drive components). Add in transportation, at least $1k to track of renters choice.
I figure:
$3k tires...
I agree with you & think it's an unfortunate reality that must be accepted, expected and provisons made in the rental agreements. On the track side of the house I could only hope that the HPDE instructors and education received would suppress the Andretti-like tendencies.
