Yes, those are what I call 'Sidewinders.' I had them on my '05. Not crazy about the looks, and the offset is about 1/4" too much in the rear (don't know why Dodge did that), which is why I asked about thoughts on the CCW SP550. The CCWs can also be had in 19/20 set ups. And no, not looking...
Someone said they saw one at the So Cal Viper Rally last weekend ...but no pics were posted
That has to be grounds for banning:

1) The SRT engineer said the stock pistons are fine with a mild HP upgrade ...the issue with headers is the ECU program.
2) Even with upgrades to get up to 600hp on the '03-'06 8.3L, the '08 8.4L is still a much better engine & drivetrain (higher redline, better clutch, better rear diff...
What you experienced happens a lot ...O2 syms are another solution ...keep an eye on those wires - I rerouted my wires several times but they kept melting until I replaced them with O2 syms.
All of this is another reason why I believe 3.33 rear gears should be any '08 Viper owner's first performance mod. No ECU issues, faster in the 1/4mi. and more fun to drive in 1st and 6th gears, and easier on the life of the clutch too!!
I made the mistake anyway of thinking the run-flats were 'All Season' due to the look of the tread pattern. I didn't realize they were summer tires just like the PS2s. So case closed, now I see there is no benefit to the run-flats...
I thought of this because I like the 'machined' (not polished) look of rims -- I think it's more Old School, and the brushed/machined look comes out very light, almost like a white metal, which i think would highlight white or silver stripes. (I don't like powder-coating because it always chips...
This brings up good points.
First, Tirerack's website, says the R-Fs are a 'closeout.' Doesn't sound like more are being made.
Second, for those long, cross-country trips, how about a 6-lug spare tire option in the trunk. A narrow tire in the front diameter should work all the way around...
The Mopar 'street' exhaust, made by Borla, is probably very similar to the '08 (no cross-over), not loud at all and relatively cheap - probably cheaper than an '08 OEM exhaust (unless you find one used).
I guess maybe that's why Dodge never released those Mopar headers for the '08, as orginally described ...at least until they also offer a new ECU/program to go with it. :dunno:
Ok, give this a bit of a squint, and see what you think of this possible wheel look.
It's a chrome center, with a brushed & clearcoat lip (looks 'machined'). The hues from the lighting weren't exactly a match when I put the center with the lip, but I think it's a decent chop to get an idea...
Not to mention, we always said such a comparison might depend upon the type of track. What kind of track is Pocono? Tight turns favoring lighter weight and big sweeping curves, favoring the CC? or long straights with banked curves at the end, favoring the ACR?
All other gear & driver...
Austin, you did the heavy lifting with that great chop, but here's a color variation with a bit more 'flop' (to my eye) like the panels in the CAAP pics ...
Woohoo!! ...thanks Austin. :headbang:
These pics help for those of us who have had to wait soooo long for this color (I'm guessing I'll get mine in August)
The color is tough (for a hack like me) because it seems to flop so much in the lighting - from a royal blue in darker light, to light...
I think the wait adds to the excitement. ;) I ordered the car just over a year ago...
Here's what those body panels 'may' look like in the daylight (adjusted for the dark CAAP lighting):
I like the idea of a Black Chrome lip vs. powdercoated (gunmetal), because the chrome should provide a much more durable (and easy to maintain) lip...
Something I tried poorly earlier (adding black chrome effects to the chrome rim pic):
And an example of a similar idea:
Another visual...
Seems as good a place as any to collect all the pics to come on Viper Blue :
similar color?:
My last photchop effort:
The brochure (the Dodge marketing folks added some aqua graphic effects):
