Randy is an interesting character for sure, very good driver. Sebring is his home track which he knows very well. I think that's only his 2nd time up @ RA and the first time in his RS. He is always scared to instruct Viper and Vette guys
Yes, I have a chromoly and never had any issues. Not sure on the gear teeth.

Why not just get one of the chromoly's for the same price as the aluminum's? Still weighs 10lbs less and chromoly > aluminum. You also don't have to wait for a part that's not even available
The sneaky pete key will break eventually on you (mine just broke a couple weks ago) and they are expensive. Buy a Gen 3 key and have it cut for your car.
I drive around on R100's but I'm crazy. Gotta check the weather before you go out. I drive it maybe once a month on the street though. I have a truck and trailer for when I'm actually heading to an track event.
