Since you don't trailer the car I would suggest keeping your sports cups or even going to Super Sports as they will last longer and are safer just in case of rain. They actually have quite a bit of grip as well. IF you go to an R6 you will NOT want to go back so I don't even suggest trying...
Dunlop, Falken,Yokohama and Michelin are the only choices. Unless Pirelli steps up and trys to develop a race tire for the car. BUT, even the EM Patron 458's run Michelins
open faced is generally accepted in DE's for NON race groups. As long as the helmet has at least an SA2005 you should be fine. Going to a local speed shop and trying them on is obviously the best way to figure out which works best for you.
Who cares what Tanner thinks but please get the car on the REAL Top Gear so those guys across the pond can finally say something good about an American car!!!
I believe the caliper pistons diameters are different between the ABS and NON ABS kits. The non abs kits were made specifically with no abs in mind and act like a proportioning valve moving some of the bias to the back to take advantage or your new MUCH better rear brakes.
They have been and did test a flappy paddle gear box for the Gen V. It was one of the Tremec's that they make for Aston. I would say we will see it eventually.
