If you don't like the hot air at partial throttle openings put a vacuum reservoir tank in line from your vacuum line coming off your passenger valve cover. About a $10.00 fix and works great.
I too live in Florida and have no trouble with the air conditioning or overheating. But I also have the new fan and I burp it once a month. I installed a vacuum reservoir in-line so the cold air keeps blowing even at 3/4 throttle.
Living in Florida I had the same problem. What I did was cut a 1.5in. hole in the crotch vent and attach a 3in. piece of ribbed plastic tubing aimed at my feet. Simple but effective.

When my 94 is reading empty,empty it still has 5gal. in there. My dealer offered to fix it but I declined and grown to like the discrepancy.
