I agree with Texas Venom. I have pulled off a lot of plastic to see cut marks on most if not all corners on some very high end cars and before the film was pulled off you would have never known that there were cuts in the paint. A clear bra is a great thing if it is installed properly. You...
I agree the installer is just as important as the film. Also be sure that they do not use a razor on your car to trim off the extra film.
A good installer should not need to trim off any film after the kit is installed.
I am now a huge fan of the Adam's In & Out Spray.
The one thing is you need to be careful on where you spray it. My garage floor got a little slippery.
JUNKMAN
Do you have any recommendations on how to remove the white spots on the alternator?
I will be ordering some of the In & Out spray tonight. How long will one can last?
It is still snowing outside so I thought I would clean-up the engine compartment.
What products do you use to make the engine compartment shine like new?
I have purchased and shipped 2 cars across the country and I had one good and one bad experience. The good experience was with a well know carrier. They picked it up when they said and delivered it in perfect condition when promissed. The second one (my 08 Viper) I took the advice of the...
Plumcrazy,
I too have seen some very bad work with the film. Most of the bad jobs I have seen are the ones that purchase the do it yourself kits or they use poor fitting patterns. I have a Venom red Viper and from 3' away you cannot tell that the car has film on it. Most people even after...
Martin,
You are on the right track. I don't think the paint that they use on newer cars is as durable or tough as the paint from say 10 years ago. I think it all changed when they had to start using low VOC paint. For me being an installer of the clear bras it is good for business. Some...
I want to thank everyone on this thread for introducing this to me. I was planning on selling my black car before purchasing this unit but now I will enjoy my black car. This is a must have if you have a black car.
I just received my Water Deionizing system from Costco and used it for the second time today and am amazed at how well it works. I washed both cars in about the time it normally took to do one. I have a black Z06 and a Venom Red Viper and washed both and only used the leaf blower to blow off...
Here is a link on the last Viper off the line.

The 2010 Dodge Viper is many things, awesome among them. So when you're buying something truly awesome, what do you do...
I have the same problem with my 2008 coupe. I am hopping it is as easy as pulling off the face plate and tightening a screw:dunno:???
Has anyone had it fixed or repaired it themselves?
