    Battery

Sorry...Absorbent Glass Mat...where the acid is contained in "sponges" (mats) that separate the lead plates...as opposed to a flooded lead acid battery where the fluid flows freely within the case. Your CTEK MXS 5.0 charger should be fine charging an AGM battery...noting that you need to...

To sell or not too sell ?

If you are ready to part with it, I would suggest that you sell it now. Hard to predict long term market results. It is certainly hot now. Good luck either way !

    Battery

I should point out that in general, the AGM batteries mentioned above have another advantage in that they do not leak. So, once one "reconditions" the battery tray ( removing the corrosion, priming and painting it), the tray should stay clean over time. A down side to these batteries is cost...

    Battery

Well, responses look a little thin. I use Interstate AGM batteries in our Gen I and II Vipers...noting that I like their MTZ-78 best (4 year fully returnable warranty). In general, with proper intermittent charging, an AGM battery usually lasts at least twice as long as a flooded lead-acid...

    96 GTS Alarm Issue

As you can guess, no responsible person is going to post the how-to steps to defeat the alarm system in an open forum. Sadly, there are few tech left at dealerships who can help you. If you like, give me a CALL and I might be able to help you. 317-402-9013 By the way, I turn that number off...

Gen 2 acr bbs center caps

IF you absolutely cannot source these specific center caps (at any price), you COULD have a machine shop with the proper CNC tools make some for you...possibly even a duplicate. A friend of mine did this 20 years ago when he purchased a set of CCW's, made his own caps...complete with the Sneaky...

    2006 Viper electrical malfunctioning

Have you tested the voltage AFTER the tender or charger has been disconnected for an hour? When you inspected the battery terminals, were they clean? Did you give a gentle tug on the battery cables to see if they could be deteriorating underneath the connectors? Is the red shield over the...

1993 Gen1, anti-theft system, key fob sync fail

Hi, Andy...hopefully I may have a suggestion or two for you. As there are slight procedural differences between some years, what year is your Viper? For Gen I Vipers, you hold down only one of the two buttons ( lock or unlock) to program. On Gen II Vipers, you hold BOTH the lock and unlock...

Help!! 94 RT/10 wont stay running. Not alarm/pump/battery/fuses/relays

This is a tough one. Fuses good, unplugged 2nd SAM and replugged...same for RKE. As noted, fob still clears alarm set light. Manual SAM reset does nothing. Air filters OK, opening throttles slightly did nothing. Fuel squirts at Schrader valve on IM (early 94 with 4 stripe IM)...but pressure...
