Agree with Goggles Pizano on dip in quality...especially standard flooded lead acid batteries. A couple of years back, a string of Diehard Gold and Duralast Gold batteries were only lasting 2 years at best with regular, intermittent charging (every 4 weeks) but no tender. Advice needed - fix or sell as is?
I would check for fuel pump voltage at relay, then jump relay sockets pins to see if relay bad...before I went too far. Have you tried to locate fuel pump fuse...and, tried new fuse?- Steve-Indy

You might get more interest in this post if it was in the Gen I and II section. Have you tried a CARFAX using the full 17 digit VIN? That could possibly lead you to the current general location...city/state. At that point, you may want to contact the local Viper club (s) on the outside chance...- Steve-Indy

Difference between PCM 96 and 98 ???
It appears to me that the1998 PCM is the slightly earlier European version and that the 1997 is a USA version.
