camfab, yes, it sounds like everyone could benefit from your experiences... your issue is that these lifts don't have an EMERGENCY OFF switch nor a mechanism to shut off should your vehicle actually hit the garage ceiling, right? No typo. My Autolifters group buy includes casters and 2 8" jacking trays... A savings of over $400. The AllStarLift has the same items but 2 12" jacking trays.- coleman
