Merlin, there's a big difference in price/value between a BW '97 and a solid red. Borem, $42-$45 is doable, the 45k miles is your only drawback. Need to have some records, no major flaws and current tires at that price. Good luck, Mike- redtanrt10

94 insurance cost for a young guy
To your post in one of the multi replies; If I can't figure out how to pay $1000 or less then this will be shelved for the foreseeable future. A 23 year old is never going to insure a Gen 1 Viper at this cost. I think you'll struggle at this annual premium on a used 10 year old $10,000 door...- redtanrt10

Agree with TEALLIFE, get a quote by yourself, lot's of on-line tools. I would also recommend you have a collision/comp deductible of $2,000. where to get an alignment in SoCal?
Since Dan Cragin closed his shop in Alhambra there isn't any Viper speciality shop in the LA area. Alignment of a Viper isn't really anything special unless you are also looking to corner weight and/or get suggestions for setting outside of the OEM specs.
