Just to clarify, you do mean the bushings and not the end links, correct?

2004 Dodge Viper Gen 3 - lost oil

I'll let others chime in, but from what I've seen the hoses likely won't have visible signs of cracking or damage.....they'll just leak at the connections. That said, I believe catastrophic leaks have been pretty much non-existent or at least very rare as the tend to just drip or seep.

2004 Dodge Viper Gen 3 - lost oil

Sounds more like an oil cooler line. Check the lines above the filter and around the engine block.

    New Viper Owner

    New Viper Owner

If you haven't dealt with Jon, that's just him. He can be off-putting at times, but he's really a pretty good guy once you get to know him. He apparently gets some people who take up his time while using him as a resource for his expertise, and then they go elsewhere to make a...

Gen 3/4 replacement lenses available for purchase

Where did you get the replacement lenses?! Do they snap in with a gasket or do you have to disassemble the light and reseal it, etc.?

After 20 Years I Finally Got One

You may just need to change the fluid. They're known to make some "grrr" noises when it's time.

Gen 3/4 replacement lenses available for purchase

That looks great. Yeah, the last time I washed the car, I noticed the silver on the "Fang" logo flaking a bit. It's still silver under what came off, but it's a little darker. It's hardly noticeable, but you know how that is.

Gen 3/4 replacement lenses available for purchase

Have you ever considered doing a Gen 3/4 center "Fang" brake light repro like the ones y'all make for the Gen 2 GTS?

    Insurance Question for the Group:

I have Grundy with a pretty high agreed value and $500 deductibles and am paying $599/year. There are no mileage limits, but they have a few stipulations (can't be a daily driver, has to be garage kept, no drivers under 25).

    2016 ACR Wiper blades

It's either use the expensive Dodge Viper-only replacements or strip the old rubber off the metal strips the blades you currently have are glued onto and glue new rubber on. If you do a search, there is a thread or two from owners who've tried it. If you go the new route, you can find the...

Honest feedback on this wing choice

I don't want to sound like a d*ck, but if you're asking for honest opinions, from the photos it looks to me like it was made in a high school shop class or a generic wing out of a JC Whitney catalog.....and it just looks too big for the car to me. I'm a little biased too because I've always...

    ‘08 ACR Options

I believe foglights on Gen 4 ACRs were installed only on the Canadian cars. They were not an option on the American ACRs.

Need tire help! And how bad are old tires….

Old tires are dangerous, especially if you are doing anything north of cruising around town. Get new tires! Have you considered the Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02? You would need to go to a 355/30 on the rear but the difference is minimal. The 355 will make your car sit only ~2/10 of an...

Looking for the original owner of my 2009 ACR

Yeah, I tried 315/30 Toyo R888s on the 18x11 OZ Racing wheels I put on my Gen 2 GTS and they poked out too much visually, so I went with 295s....definitely could have use a little more front grip on that car.

Looking for the original owner of my 2009 ACR

Oh, I get that people run those kind of sizes, but they're most likely outside the manufacturer's acceptable range and will be pinched, especially on a 10 inch wheel (even the stock G4 ACR's 295/30-18 is at the top of the range for a 10" wheel and is slightly pinched)......not to mention how...
