    I installed one of these near my battery. They say to break the negative cable and install this switch. Only use it for inside car shows that make you disconnect battery. Three or four days caused no issues, but not sure about extended periods...

    Sounds like the window travel needs to be reset. You can try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and reconnecting. Pray in those 15 minutes that EVERYTHING resets properly.
