I have a 00 ACR with the Mopar computer and, rear muffler delete the car did 415rwp 459rwt. Would cutting the door mufflers help or hurt on power, or should I cut the cats as well? The Mopar computer should help on the check engine light. Would like some feedback from people who have been there done that.

Like the colour Tony, skunks are the best!

Replace the cats with hi-flo ...avoid the smell, replace the system with borla or belanger...get great sound. Std cat does a lot of silencing, in sill silencers look very restrictive, check inside them.

Tony, Most, or at least many, running the Mopar computer end up with their A/F ratio way too rich. I have had mine dynoed with and with out the computer. The computer does get rid of the check engine light, but it cost me 15 HP if I remember right.
I have never had trouble with smell from running catless. Belangers work real well for me.

The year matters....your softer cam is less agreeable to exhaust-delete mods. Losing rear muffler and under-door resonators will increase HP on a 2000 and not affect TQ. But sound ratty.

Lose the cats ALSO, and lose TQ, sound RATTY-ER, stink, and risk idle-surge. [And check-lites except for your (worthless) ECU.]

Nothing sounds / performs as good as a tuned hiperf exhaust system. Tons of dyno data to back it up.

Good HF cats will protect your TQ, your sills, and your nose.

Commercial: Cat backs NEW from $1095....Used-a-bit from $850

So, John I respect your judgement greatly. Should I install the stock pcm, install high flow cats and, cut the side sill res. for the best results. Or what would you recommend??
