\'01 ACR eBay auction - near West Palm Beach
There is an '01 Viper ACR (Sapphire) for sale by a dealer in Delray Beach, FL, near West Palm Beach. It's currently up for auction on eBay and I've been the high bidder the last two go 'rounds but the reserve was never met. This time there is no reserve and the price has come down significantly - $56k (dealer initially was asking $66k). Dealer says it was traded in on a Ferrari. Has anyone seen this ACR in person or taken a close look at the pictures? I'd post the link to the auction if I knew how. I noticed there is some damage to the stripping on the inside of the driver's door and some wear on the side of the driver's seat. This seems abnormal for 7k miles. Maybe this is another "It's too good to be true"! I suppose I could run a Carfax but was going to wait until I was closer to buying. Without seeing it in person is there any way to get comfortable before bidding?
