08 stripes

Is it my imagination or are the stripes on the 08 thinner than previously?

I think that is a very good observation. If one looks at the SRT website and looks at the 360 views, it appears that the stripes are narrow in the front and widen towards the back.

Not an illusion. The stripes are in fact narrower in the front and wider in the rear this time around.

Thinner looks less aggressive. There must have been an issue with alignment with the larger hood scoop.

Thinner in front makes the car look wider IMO. I think it looks good!

2006 coupe stipes are also narrower in front and wider in rear. I think it is just the hood making them look different.
